The place is perfect for hosting groups :)

08/09/2024: A well deserved 5 Stars for the Emilie & the cool kids team in Lille. The girl who looked after us spoke perfect English and was very friendly. The full story is we went there looking for French crepes (they don't serve them if you're wondering - Bagel / United States style menu); she was very friendly and made recommendations on where to go, but despite roaming around the area, we came back to Emilie's as we weren't convinced by nothing else. Staff got an extra chair and managed to seat us out as it was a sunny morning and had two great bagels. Full transparency: price/quantity ratio is a bit low, but food was good and staff fantastic, so worth it.

07/12/2024: Excellente soirée passée avec une quarantaine de nos amis cavaliers de la région ! Accueil, service, produits de qualité dans l assiette et ambiance au top !
Et pour ce qui est du karaoké, vous pouvez faire confiance au talent de Lucas qui sait parfaitement vous mettre dans l’ambiance et « faire chanter » les plus récalcitrants 😉 !
Un grand Merci à toute l’équipe, je ne puis que recommander vivement !

01/12/2024: A quality coffee that gives that soft hug feeling with every sip! The cupcakes are original and delicious! It's the perfect place to take a break from the chaos of life :) ⭐️
23/11/2024: Terrible experience. The cafe owner was rude. Asked me to close my laptop because it’s a weekend. And when I came back from the bathroom there were other people seated in my place on my stuff. The food was good but go only if you are in a rush …not a good experience otherwise

29/08/2024: Was welcomed by very kind and helpful staff. My room was on the 3rd floor, lift is available. The hall smells clean, room also clean. The room itself is VERY small, if you don’t like tight spaces be aware of this. The bathroom especially is very close to the door entrance and toilet is kind of strange to flush. The sink water drains a bit slow. Lovely showers, some free soap available. Hair dryer works ok. Tv also works. The bed was also good, the pillows heavenly. But it is very noisy in the evening, the doors shut loud which is really a down point. All in all, okay to stay for 1 night but probably not longer than that.
18/08/2024: Third stay at the Napoléon for me, always pleasant service and ideal location next to Lille Flandre station for access to the city center, I recommend ☺️

Flavors, presentation and attention, prices contained in short of good French cuisine under the watchful eye of the "boss" in the noble sense of the term who watches over and that makes all the difference.

19/09/2024: A restaurant for those looking for a pleasant place to have a drink in the late afternoon is Aux Point Central. The ideal place to relax after a long day. The menu offers a variety of beers. In addition, the bar has a selection of cocktails, perfect for those who want to try something different. Service is quick and friendly. The efficient service, combined with the welcoming atmosphere, makes the experience always pleasant.

21/09/2024: Wine bar in old Lille with a good reputation.
The wines are very good.
The problem is more in terms of service, where, for the price offered, it was not necessarily up to par.
No explanations offered on the wine we chose, for the place it’s still a shame.
We are served without looking at our glasses and we repeat what the waitress at the next table says… We did not find it very professional.
17/09/2024: One of my must-see addresses in Lille and which I recommend with my eyes closed to anyone who wants to have a great time.
An impressive selection of wines, delicious charcuterie/cheese or seafood platters and service that matches the setting!

La prise de contact à été fluide.
Manu et Mehdi ont organisé cette soirée comme des chefs !
L’animation était topissime !
Nous n’avons que des retours positifs de nos adhérents !
Nous recommandons tous ce lieux : nous sommes unanimes !!!

03/09/2024: Never come the week of August 15 during the absence of managers, the restaurant was dirty, the bins empty, the toilets horrible & a certain relaxed atmosphere noticed as unprofessional.

29/09/2024: We came to the Guinguette de la Marine yesterday afternoon, we were very well received by a waiter who seated us straight away at our table. The rest of the service staff said hello warmly to us when we passed them, a nice touch that we find less and less in restaurants. We had a butcher's cut and the dish of the day (Saturday) which was pork belly smoked with beech wood (if I remember correctly) with roasted baby potatoes and a pan of oyster mushrooms and shiitakes + mustard sauce with ancient. In addition to being more than generous with the sauce, the quality of the products and that of the cuisine was incredible. If you think it looks delicious in the photo, I can assure you right away, it doesn't just look like it. We really had a pleasant time, service, cuisine, atmosphere and setting I have nothing to complain about. We had stopped by during the Lille clearance sale and had already had a great time. But outside of the sale period, take advantage of the quality and creativity of the dishes they offer, they are definitely worth the detour. For our part, we will definitely come back!

29/07/2024: I had a wonderful evening as usual at M.Jacques’s. Arthur our favorite bartender server was superb as usual. We will come back with pleasure!
13/07/2024: Monsieur Jacques is a real Lille institution. The service is great and the wines are good. I removed one star because we ordered a mixed board (price: 21 euros) which, in fact, arrived on a normal plate and not very well stocked with cheese and cold meats. There was a lot of salad in the middle. In short, I found it a bit outrageous to see such a small plate for 21 euros. This is for me a point to improve.

26/01/2025: The advantage of one of the rare places in Lille open late in the evening (after 10:30 p.m.). The dishes are very generous (chicken gratinated with maroilles, cheddar burger) but the fries would have benefited from being crispier.
25/01/2025: Small problem with my mulled wine very quickly resolved by the service.
They quickly agreed to replace my glass.
Calm atmosphere and pleasant service staff.
