15/03/2026: A very charming restaurant with original vintage decor. Excellent food. The only downside is the requirement to order a minimum of three courses for two people. Home-style cooking, very good.

25/02/2026: My second visit to this restaurant, the food is excellent, very good quality ingredients, carefully prepared dishes, a relaxed atmosphere, and good value for money. I recommend it!

26/02/2026: Reply to the owner I recommend you review your recipes. Strawberry soup is made with fresh strawberry puree. What you served me was strawberries in wine. Extremely disappointed with the meal. While the welcome and service were excellent, the same cannot be said for the meal. An appetizer buffet with overly salty charcuterie terrines, mayonnaise swimming in a few raw vegetables, a much-overcooked ham hock for the main course, and for dessert, a strawberry soup where the strawberries weren't fresh and tasted more like canned strawberries. The chef must have been off his game; it's a real shame because we traveled many kilometers to find this place.

15/02/2026: We came the day before Valentine's Day and we loved it! Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert, including the wonderful cheese platter! Generous portions, a very friendly waiter, a warm welcome—what more could you ask for? When we're back in the area, we'll definitely return!

24/02/2026: The app on the phone isn't working on the kiosk, and the app is buggy. No promotion. The kiosk is buggy, and no points are added to my account. No complaints about the staff, but the services provided by the app and the kiosk are a disaster. I get home, and there are no sauces in the bags.

24/03/2026: Stumbled across the Ad Hoc Cafe and what a brilliant find it was! Service, food, staff, all were brilliant. Extremely friendly and the food was outstanding. Well worth a visit when in Amiens, don’t miss it!

10/03/2026: The food is very good. I had the carbonnade, it was perfect and reasonably priced at €19. The week before, we went to a chain restaurant (the dumpster fire), I had the carbonnade there too, and I paid the same price only to have heartburn all afternoon. So I think it might be a good idea to go back more often to small restaurants like this one where the food isn't mass-produced and the waitress is friendlier.

03/12/2025: I could not praise this restaurant enough! I looked at a few others, it was 11:40am and all others had so many reservations it was challenging to find a table at their terrace by the water. However, Le Baratin accommodated us without hesitation. The waiter was on top of the game despite the tables filling up quickly. The food was excellent, FRESH PRODUCES, and great portions! (I had a steak tartar and a colonel followed by a espresso). And to top it off, it was not the average rip off tourist prices! 14/09/2025: Terrible welcome, very slow service, I ordered a set menu with mussels and fries, the mussels were cold... An unpleasant experience, I do not recommend it!

10/03/2026: Friendly welcome, good value for money, and very generous portions. Efficient and attentive waitress. It's a shame the desserts didn't seem homemade.

27/02/2026: We had a lovely time in this beautifully renovated establishment. The dining room is very pleasant. The separate, refurbished kitchen is a real plus. The dishes are excellent and of high quality, something that's hard to find these days. I had the seafood stew, which was delicious. Well done! I highly recommend it. See you soon!
