02/09/2025: Restaurant closed despite confirmed booking. No apology We made a booking for lunch which was confirmed by phone and in writing. We turned up to find the restaurant closed, which ruined our Sunday. After a lot of chasing, we were subsequently told that the reservation should never have been taken as they are closed for lunch between June and September. The person taking the booking had told us that they were full on the first lunch date we requested and then took the booking for lunch the next week. So we are not sure which version of events is correct.... The restaurant had our details and had made no attempt to let us know that they had taken a booking in error. Perhaps we were the only booking and it was not worth opening... Sadly we did not even receive an apology/explanation. Anyway my advice is to double check on the day of your booking that the restaurant will be open!

10/08/2025: An unforgettable moment. You won't be disappointed by this magical setting, from the welcome to the meal. Your eyes will appreciate the scenery and your palate will be captivated by the explosion of flavors from the dishes meticulously prepared by a great chef. If I had to recommend a truly magical and historic place, this is it. Thank you to Chef Philippe Gallas and Thierry.
