15/09/2024: Wir waren gestern zum wiederholten Male im 'Caveau du Châtelet' essen und empfehlen diese Restaurant bedingungslos weiter. Wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht, das Ambiente ist sehr schön, ein Parkplatz fast vor der Tür, Küche und Service ausgezeichnet. Auch wenn vegetarische Gerichte nicht auf der ständig saisonal wechselnden kleinen Karte stehen, wird dem Wunsch des Gastes entsprochen und eben mal fix ein neues Gericht kreiert, so geschehen voriges Jahr beim Ostermenü.
Eine Reservierung ist unbedingt empfohlen, am Telefon und im Restaurant spricht man auch vorzüglich Deutsch, wie jeder Franzose freut man sich über ein bonjour, bonsoir, s'il vous plaît und merci.

Cette dernière rencontre avec les plats d’une qualité exceptionnelle, hors du commun, avec le personnel aimable, attentif et efficace, l’atmosphère accueillante du restaurant nous font déjà rever à une prochaine visite.

31/07/2024: We only ate so I don't know about the hotel. As for the restaurant: Great service! Very nice and friendly. Delicious snails for an appetizer. The steak was too thin, so it was tough (it was supposed to be medium), and 1/5 of it was cartilage. Vegetables for the steak were over-fried - soft and tasteless. Dessert - choko lavacake - cool and tasted as if it was bought in a supermarket. Espresso hmm .. little coffee, lots of water. We probably won't come back.

01/10/2024: In the summer months it is even more beautiful in the garden. Due to high demand, access to the café has been controlled separately via the garden entrance for several years. At lunchtime on weekends it can take a while to get a table.
The tartlets, sweet or salty, are great.
The coffee is also good for Germans and there is a small pot of hot milk with Mllchkaffee.
The staff is competent, mostly bilingual and very friendly.
29/09/2024: Cold welcome, decent service but the consumption is not up to par, as for homemade chocolate I am still looking for chocolate, bland, tasteless...many pastries on the menu were actually missing.

15/08/2024: It was quite good but the fact of having to wait 50 minutes between each tarte flambée is still exaggerated, it would be time to hire a second waiter, value for money in fact it's quite mediocre
14/08/2024: We come to this restaurant regularly, especially for its Alsatian specialties, my husband really likes the baeckeoff, the ham brewed in beer, I really like the tartes flambées, the drinks are cheaper than in other restaurants. The atmosphere of the restaurant is surprising but I find it cool. The boss is very nice as is his waitress. I had forgotten the delicious goat cheese salad. Large terrace when it's not raining.

We were well received. The kitchen is perfect. Everything is homemade. We took the menu: from starter to dessert, nothing to say except that we enjoyed ourselves. Very warm atmosphere. The boss is very caring.
Just perfect with, in addition, a terrace at the water's edge.
We will come back

11/08/2024: Restaurant familial, ouvert essentiellement le midi, avec une proposition autour d'un plat du jour et trois ou quatre suggestions. Clientèle faite de nombreux habitués.
Service assuré par une équipe sympathique, à l'écoute et expérimentée.
Cuisine faite maison, efficace. On sent la maîtrise, tout en restant dans la cuisine de famille que la clientèle du restaurant attend. Je suis toujours ressorti satisfait de mes déjeuners.
