26/04/2026: I highly recommend you eat at Brasserie du Soleil if you're in Marseille. Chef Gabriel will prepare wonderful dishes for you, the servers are very friendly, and Ludovic, our regular waiter, is a real sweetheart 😘 I really recommend this little brasserie 🥰

18/04/2026: It's a shame we can't give zero stars. Homophobic waiter because we are a gay couple. This waiter kept calling us "sir/madam" and used a effeminate voice while serving us.

14/03/2026: The bouillabaisse, served in three courses, was very good and well presented. However, the wine and dessert were a bit pricey. €343 for four people in a rather simple setting. The atmosphere in the dining room was a little too quiet; we whispered for fear of disturbing the other two tables.

24/04/2026: This must be the only Chinese restaurant in Marseille where you actually get Chinese food and not a mix of everything from Asia. They also have the best eggplant in Marseille. Always make a reservation because otherwise you'll never get a table. Be aware of the loud customers, but at least you feel comfortable doing the same. The young waitress was so nice.

28/02/2026: If you come to Marseille, I highly recommend this place. It's quiet and family-friendly. We came the day before yesterday and came back again today. We would definitely return a thousand times more. The owner is incredibly friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable.

20/04/2026: A great place to spend an evening. The kitchen is open in the evenings, unlike most restaurants on the port. The food is excellent, the service is very friendly, and they're always available despite the large crowds. The prices are reasonable for the portions and quality.

08/04/2026: If you look for unpretentious real traditional tunesian food, this might be for you. We had lamb tagine with olive and another with boulettes and figs. Just good taste where locals hang out.

09/04/2026: The service was very unfriendly, they forgot our drinks (which we were still expected to pay for) and made us wait ages for the bill (note: no cash). The lasagna was thawed. The owner was sitting at the next table – smoking and showing absolutely no interest in the well-being of her guests. Not recommended.

24/02/2026: Mixed feelings. Moldy ceiling and walls, cold and questionable atmosphere. Wooden plates were very unhygienic. One wonders what state the kitchen is in... Very good wine and the dish was okay for the price. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The chimichurri needs improvement... In short, not bad for buying a bottle of wine to take away.

03/02/2026: It was tasty and a good portion, except for the pepper sauce which was anything but runny! (I wondered if it had been microwaved!) We were seated on the terrace, and the chairs were very uncomfortable (just wooden slats). We had three different servers throughout the evening, and none of them mentioned that we CANNOT pay by credit card. Cash ONLY; we had to go to a nearby ATM, but it wasn't there. The number of employees shouldn't be declared (in my opinion), just like the revenue. Well, it's Marseille, after all... Despite the food being very good, we won't be returning because of this and the uncomfortable seating.

For me, Centre Bourse remains a reliable choice in Marseille: central, useful, vibrant, and efficient. It's a shopping centre that fulfills its purpose well, with a balanced selection and genuine comfort for visitors. I gladly recommend it.

23/04/2026: The ice cream is delicious, however, the cashier and the one who served me were unpleasant. For the same cone as my sister, I only got half the amount of ice cream because I had the misfortune of being served by the unpleasant woman 🤦‍♀️

22/04/2026: A terrible experience. The ice cream shop advertised closing time as 11:00 PM. We arrived at 11:02 PM, the ice cream was still on display, they were just starting to pack up… so clearly still open. We went in, and were immediately told coldly that they were closed. I explained that my girlfriend is pregnant and simply wanted an ice cream—we weren't asking for the moon, just a little basic courtesy. The result? They turned their backs on us without a word, as if we didn't exist. Zero customer service, zero respect, a contemptuous attitude. If you can't treat customers properly, find another line of work.
