The only downside is the vegetarian crepe; it lacks flavor and is rather bland compared to the other options. Simply using the GAVR recipe and omitting the ham would create a much better vegetarian crepe! The prices are still quite high for crepes.

Beef fillet with morels cooked to perfection, goat cheese salad absolutely delicious...the red wine, Cuvée Paradis, was delightful, and to finish, a chocolate fondant cake that was simply divine. Impeccable service. All in a charming town. Around €90 for two, tip included. Thank you!

The restaurant is close to the train station, which makes it easy to recharge upon arrival or before departure. They even offer home delivery. I highly recommend it. 16/07/2026: Invited as part of a "My Free Restaurant" promotion. Excellent and generous portions, as usual. However, when I got to the till to pay for the coffees, the employee tried to charge me for the meals because she wasn't aware they were included in the "My Free Restaurant" offer. She had already charged other customers and had to call them back! Then, she asked me for €12 for three coffees! When I told her that was expensive, she replied, "Uh, €6," in an annoyed and unfriendly tone. In short, incompetent and unpleasant. Frankly, you should retrain your staff because this is quite deplorable.

23/08/2026: I apologize in advance for the length of this message, but things need to be said. This is the second time I've eaten at this establishment. The first time (early August 2026), I really enjoyed the food and honestly thought I'd made a great discovery. But today, I was HUGELY DISAPPOINTED, both by the quality of the food and by the waiter's completely dishonest behavior. Let me explain: for my main course, I chose "the chef's burger," specifying that I wanted the ground beef patty as an extra, COOKED VERY RARE (price €22.50). I received a medium-rare patty instead of medium. I informed the waiter after the second bite that I had ordered medium-rare, not medium. He looked, didn't say anything, and left. When he didn't come back to me, I ate part of my burger, very disappointed. I didn't finish it because it was overcooked (rare isn't the same as medium-rare; I know the difference, my father ran a restaurant for half his life and ended his career as a traditional cooking instructor). Disgusted by the lack of response to my comment (a proper restaurant would have taken the dish back to the kitchen and replaced the meat), I expressed my disappointment when paying. And then the waiter had the nerve to tell me that the steak was almost rare, and that, in fact, I'd only eaten half of it. So, sir, I'm telling you, learn to distinguish between different cooking methods, and at the price of the burger (€22.50), I think I have the right to expect it to be cooked perfectly. I paid 100% of the bill; I expect 100% quality on my plate... Otherwise, I'll just go to a fast-food restaurant! Very disappointed by this waiter's behavior, his bad faith and lack of professionalism, I will not return to this establishment.

16/08/2026: On our way from Belgium, we stopped in Salon-de-Provence on Sunday, August 16th, when everything seemed closed and the atmosphere in the old town was rather gloomy. It was there that we discovered the restaurant L'Endroit, at the foot of the Château de l'Empéri. A very pleasant surprise! The setting is charming in this former medieval farmhouse, with exposed stone walls and a pretty inner courtyard. But it's the food that truly shines: 100% homemade cuisine, fresh and flavorful (lamb pastilla, beef piccata), prepared with real seasonal ingredients. You can taste the skill and care put into every dish. An excellent experience, highly recommended for a lunch break in Salon-de-Provence.

31/08/2026: A very mixed experience at this establishment. The strongest point is undoubtedly the service: the welcome is adequate, the service is smooth, and the dishes are served quickly, which is particularly appreciated for a quick lunch or if you're on a tight schedule. However, the food is disappointing. The cuisine is very standardized with a glaring lack of authenticity, even freshness in the preparations (the cordon bleu was, at best, "strange," and the crêpe was unfortunately rather dry). The Anglo-Saxon pub-style setting remains pleasant, but the place quickly shows its limitations as soon as you're looking for a truly good brasserie meal. Finally, avoid the terrace if you're worried about sharing it with the pigeons, who are quite at home there.

26/08/2026: A wide selection of dishes and drinks. It's not haute cuisine, but it's still very good, and I've always had a great meal there. The restaurant is also very well located in the heart of the historic city center.
