30/03/2024: I don’t visit Paris often, but when I do I try to visit la Table des Anges. For me, the best restaurant in Paris. High quality food but in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. The owner/chef are very jolly and the whole place has such a lively atmosphere. Of course it’s a restaurant and so food has to take pride of place and it does - great menu and great flavours.

05/04/2024: A very nice restaurant but much too noisy because too many people in too small a space, which is very tiring Adorable servers but overwhelmed by the amount of work. It’s a shame because the dishes are tasty. Maybe fewer tables even if it means increasing the price of the menu, that would be so much more pleasant. I wish them every success by doing less but better

01/04/2024: Very disappointed with this restaurant because I had as main course the five scallops placed on a rice that was much too salty accompanied by a foam that looked like shaving cream!!!! And dessert, a lemon tart measuring 5 cm in diameter, all for an exorbitant price!! !!!!

30/03/2024: Very disappointed with this old institution - the waiter forgot to take orders for two dishes out of 5… Joël Dupuch's special oysters number 3 were nothing special, the pink duck breast was overcooked; the sole of 300-400 g was a little small for me... I made these remarks to the boss who remains straight in his boots' for him everything is fine; " we'll do better next time ! But there will be no next time too bad because we have just moved 50m away... forget it for the value for money.

03/04/2024: Disappointment...not by the quality of the dish but by the lack of consideration given to its customers. While the room was half empty and the lunch service was almost over, two people were seated at the next table. We quickly understand that it is not customers but acquaintances of the staff who come to drink coffee. Unless you are deaf, it is impossible not to hear their discussion with one of the restaurant managers who is covering ours. We offer them a tour of the restaurant and we take the opportunity to ask a waiter if it is possible to move them to a table, the room being almost empty. He apologizes and promises to do so as soon as they return. Yet they will never move from their table. Our end of the meal is spoiled by the noise of this conversion. During the bill, the same waiter asks us if everything went well. We remind him of our request and the response “ah yes that was not possible”. Not possible in an almost empty room at 2 p.m.? For a high-end restaurant, at the price of the meal, what a disappointment...Drouant is no longer what it was...and that's a shame.

14/03/2024: Disappointed.. the cuisine is very classic, eating cod for a menu for almost 30 euros is a shame. the shortbread is too thick and lacks salted butter caramel (there is almost none in fact) Salty addition for an average meal.
