07/02/2026: My friend and I had lunch at Friterie du Parc today and were pleasantly surprised, both by the food and by the chef and his service. The ingredients are of pretty good quality and the homemade fries are delicious. The chef welcomed us with a smile and kindness. Truly fantastic. Thank you again.

09/03/2026: My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant one evening in March 2026. The menu features Italian cuisine. We ordered a €15 pizza and a €22 veal Milanese. The pizza was quite good: cooked perfectly and with good quality ingredients. However, it was fairly standard and nothing exceptional considering the price. The veal Milanese, on the other hand, was disappointing. It was cooked only averagely and the taste was rather underwhelming. The Parmesan cheese seemed clearly past its prime and added nothing to the dish. For drinks, I ordered the only Italian beer on the menu. Nothing remarkable: simply cold, with a rather bland taste. I'd give it a 9/20. The real downside of our experience was the location of the table we were given: a table for two right next to the entrance, because supposedly there were no other seats available. Unfortunately, the dining experience was spoiled by the constant drafts every time the door opened, which chilled the food and made the moment far less pleasant. It was difficult to enjoy dinner under those conditions. The most frustrating thing was seeing several customers, clearly regulars, arrive and be magically assigned more comfortable tables in the patio or the back room. This left a rather unpleasant feeling. I don't understand why they would offer a table in that location: unless you're an Eskimo, it's hard to enjoy a meal sitting next to a constant draft. Tip: if you want to try this restaurant, be sure to book by phone and specify that you absolutely do not want to be seated near the door, ideally in the patio or the back room. For our part, we will probably avoid this restaurant on our next visit to Cabourg. Overall rating: 8/20, mainly because of the table location which ruined the experience.

08/03/2026: Pizza Capricciosa, truly excellent! The tiramisu for dessert is definitely worth the trip! A very, very good pizzeria! Don't hesitate, it's a great place!

04/01/2025: On a Friday evening, no more sole, no more whole lobster. So I chose monkfish fillet. On my plate I received 3 small pieces curled up with the scent of ammonia....so I couldn't eat anything. The lobster bisque consisted of a tiny quenelle... The champagne by the glass tasted really special...

08/03/2026: We were about to go in for lunch, then the owner came out to change the menu display. Not a hello, he simply complained about the other customers, with a haughty and disdainful air… we went to eat elsewhere 😉

08/03/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant, which has changed our dining habits in Cabourg thanks to the variety of dishes compared to other brasseries. The seafood sauerkraut was a delight; excellent and generous, it was a welcome treat this time of year. Friendly and attentive atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit! 🤗

07/12/2025: Early December after a day at the spa, a little Beso, is a bit of a shock at first but then you let yourself be captivated by the warm and charming atmosphere of this institution.

15/03/2026: A very disappointing stay for a 5-star hotel. At nearly €400 a night, we expected impeccable service, which was clearly not the case. Having stayed in hotels of this standard and even lower categories, we have often received far more consideration elsewhere. The welcome was cold, there was no special attention in the room despite our having specified the purpose of our stay, the housekeeping was subpar, and there was no farewell upon departure. The customer service was equally disappointing: we felt ignored, and the hotel even made some inaccurate statements. Without its location, this hotel would unfortunately have little to justify its 5-star rating.

14/03/2026: Incredible location overlooking the main beach, magnificent building steeped in history. However, for a 5-star hotel, I didn't find the service or the rooms exceptional. The bathroom was huge but the bathtub was small, there was no shower, the toilet was in the bathroom, and there was a lot of poorly designed space. The decor was a bit dated. The breakfast was excellent. In short, a very good stay, but nothing spectacular.
