09/01/2026: A beautiful dining room with a sea view, complemented by exceptionally attentive service. Good brasserie-style cuisine. A little disappointed by the Paris-Brest, which was rather bland.

05/01/2026: The hot chocolate, crepes, and waffles were passable, and the service wasn't great. We were the only customers in the middle of the afternoon, and one of the waiters seated us in the middle of the restaurant where the wife of one of the employees was already seated with her two children. The waiters, this woman, and her husband were chatting, laughing, and catching up on their lives. It felt like we were in a local bistro... We came here hoping for some peace and quiet... To top it all off, a restaurant manager came to put up some new paintings right next to our table and asked for our opinion... Well, frankly, we don't care, sir... The only positive point was the superb sea view. My review is several years old, at least six. I recently edited it, and when I came across it, I noticed a mistake. The date has been updated to reflect the date of the edit. Sincerely

11/12/2025: The 5-star rating and price would lead one to expect much better service: the bathroom was outdated and clearly not used regularly, judging by the difficult water connection upon our arrival; the furniture was damaged; and the cleaning also needed to be more thorough (dust on the TV, etc.). My parking reservation request by email went unanswered until I followed up the day before my arrival. A fire alarm went off, there was no evacuation, and no explanation was offered by the staff, even though everyone was in the lobby. I only received an apology by text message after the incident. Overall, I am disappointed with my stay at this establishment.

07/12/2025: Superb hotel, spacious room. But right at breakfast time, they brought us the bill to sign. I don't see the point; we hadn't even started our coffee. Try doing that at the end of breakfast; we're not leaving without paying.

08/07/2025: A very good pancake, the yolk was perfectly runny, and the fish and chips were excellent, especially not greasy. I definitely liked the dressing in the salad. Cafe Gourmand is great with its mini desserts from different parts of France. Very friendly service. Best regards, I was there on a red scooter.

07/07/2025: Very pleasant setting, attentive, friendly, smiling, and responsive staff. Succulent wholemeal galette, salad with refreshing "the chef's sauce," fresh linguini with Camembert was a delight, and the desserts were very generous. The quality and quantity are both excellent. Congratulations to the entire team, and we wish you a wonderful season.

01/01/2026: We ate there on December 31st without a reservation. The set menu was €95, including starter, main course, trou normand (a small glass of Calvados served between courses), cheese, and dessert. Very good, friendly service. Lovely setting.

28/12/2025: After many years away, it's a shame Pascal wasn't there, but I found the Hasting I knew and loved. Very good lunch, excellent service. Cheers, Olivier, JP's brother.
