03/12/2025: A really good kebab, by far the best in the region. It's simply delicious, especially with their homemade fries. It's made with a lot of love and care. I highly recommend it. It's loaded with meat and fries, of course, and you definitely get your money's worth. The staff is professional and attentive. I obviously recommend this kebab. It's far from the kebab you're used to eating. Thank you to Cabourg for this great kebab!

On my plate I received 3 small pieces curled up with the scent of ammonia....so I couldn't eat anything. The lobster bisque consisted of a tiny quenelle... The champagne by the glass tasted really special...

05/03/2026: The common areas are truly impressive: elegant, impeccably maintained, and very pleasant. You can really feel the care that has gone into the shared spaces. The staff is also very kind and attentive, with a special mention for Samuel at reception. His kindness, smile, and dedication to service truly made our stay memorable. When we went to collect bathrobes, he immediately sensed that something was wrong and spontaneously offered to move us to another room, without us even having to ask. A rare and very professional gesture. The new room had clearly been prepared in advance, and the scent was indeed very pleasant upon our arrival. Unfortunately, after returning from the restaurant, an unpleasant odor was again present in the room. Furthermore, the bathroom was rather dated. This is all the more disappointing because, given the expected standard of a Mercure hotel and the price charged, we hoped for a more consistent level of quality between the common areas and the guest rooms. Perhaps some rooms are currently being renovated—we saw some work being done at the back of the parking lot—but if so, it would be helpful if this had been mentioned when booking. Despite this, we had a great time: the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and all the staff were pleasant and attentive throughout our stay.

17/02/2026: The French-style decor is exquisite and refined, with elegant lighting. The beach is within walking distance, and the restaurant boasts a beautiful ocean view. Dinner was delicious and highly recommended! Appetizer: Quinoa salad with seasonal vegetables, seasoned with olive oil and lemon—refreshing. Main Course 1: Slow-cooked monkfish fillets with cauliflower; the vegetables were perfectly cooked, neither too soft nor too hard. Main Course 2: Veal fillet with carrots and mushrooms. Dessert: Madeleines with chocolate sauce—the best madeleines I've ever had, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. For breakfast, I highly recommend the egg salad! The egg white chunks with scallions and tomatoes seem simple and common, but they are truly delicious.

17/02/2026: Excellent and comfortable stay in a spacious superior room with a sea view. The bedding was superb, the bathroom modern with double sinks offered peace and quiet. A sumptuous breakfast was served in the beautiful dining room of the gourmet restaurant, Le Balbec. The breakfast was very generous, varied, and catered for all tastes, with sweet and savory options featuring high-quality products. The service was professional and impeccable at every level. The staff were very warm, friendly, polite, competent, efficient, and attentive to their guests' needs.
