05/09/2026: This small restaurant run by Justine and Quentin in the heart of Honfleur was a wonderful experience for my partner and me. Justine's cooking delighted us from the main course to dessert. Quentin's warm welcome and friendly manner enhanced our meal. We also really enjoyed the playlist selection. In short, we were absolutely charmed by this restaurant for our last evening in Honfleur and Normandy!

16/08/2026: A true ITALIAN restaurant in the heart of Honfleur. Run by a genuine Italian couple, you'll also be served in Italian for those who struggle with French. The dishes are delicious and prepared with art and love. In over 100 cities we've visited around Europe, this is one of the best we've eaten at. If you arrive between 12:30 and 2:00 PM, it's best to make a reservation, otherwise you won't find a table. This is in August; I don't know at other times. I recommend Mr. Mario and Mrs. Monica's cuisine to everyone 🥰🥰

15/08/2026: An Italian restaurant just the way we like them ❤️ A huge thank you to Mario and Monica for this wonderful experience! 🇮🇹✨ At your restaurant, everything begins with a warm, sincere, and attentive welcome, and continues on the plate with fresh ingredients, generous portions, and above all… a true passion for Italian cuisine! We discovered that everything is homemade, right down to the ravioli, and it shows immediately: every bite is flavorful, delicate, and has that authentic touch that makes all the difference. 😍 And then there's the time… Time to wait, yes, but above all, time to do things right. And frankly, that's an integral part of the pleasure! Carefully prepared food is something to be earned, and when the plate arrives, you immediately understand why. Good food is also about knowing how to take your time. ❤️ We also loved the impeccable organization: Madame in the kitchen, Monsieur serving, each in their respective role, with incredible attention to detail. Even the reservations are carefully planned, with tables booked at different times to ensure the kitchen and service remain perfectly managed. Such professionalism! 07/09/2026: Excellent food, the burgers are really good! You can see from the menu that each burger recipe has been carefully considered, resulting in a truly authentic and original experience! The staff is friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend it!

08/09/2026: We had the opportunity to try the restaurant on a Friday evening. The service was attentive, the enticing menu lived up to expectations, and we had a lovely evening in a pleasant atmosphere and a very comfortable dining room, yet close to the old harbor. Highly recommended.

30/08/2026: The place is small and rather chaotic. I ordered a cod fillet, which was served raw, and I obviously sent it back. When it was brought back, the fish was presented on a smaller plate and in a smaller portion (they definitely put what I had left back in the pan), but the worst part was that it was still raw! Fortunately, the cashier had the good sense to not charge me. On the way out, I had to get an ice cream because I was still hungry. The only positive note was the oysters, which were good. If you're planning on coming here, I recommend looking for alternatives.

02/07/2026: From the moment we came in, we could feel welcomed. Staff was super friendly and respectful. We had the lobster menu. From the beginning to the end, it was pure magic. I felt as if I was in a chef cooking contest, where every dish was meant to impress. The presentation, the texture, taste, everything was amazing. Thank you!

27/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance… and we'll definitely be back! The service was top-notch, provided by a lovely and incredibly professional waitress (a brunette). We ordered two mussels and fries, which were delicious and served quickly. The staff is friendly and the location is ideal, away from the crowds of Honfleur harbor. The only downside: the price of the desserts; €14 for an ice cream sundae is perhaps a bit steep… Thank you for the warm welcome! 🥰

23/08/2026: Incredible! An exceptional discovery. We had mussels in cider and cream sauce, and a burger. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect: quality ingredients, expertly cooked, and simply impeccable service. We received excellent advice from the waitress, who was incredibly professional. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

02/09/2026: Great find in Honfleur, tucked away in a quiet side street that feels less touristy than the main harbor area. The staff were very welcoming and kind. We had moules-frites, fish and chips, and the pêche du jour (dorade), all excellent and well prepared. A perfect stop before strolling through Honfleur. Definitely worth the visit.

30/08/2026: A wonderful family meal! We had lunch as a family of four, including two young children, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The welcome was particularly warm, and the staff were incredibly attentive throughout the meal. This is so appreciated when you're dining with young children. A truly lovely place where you feel right at home, both for the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We will definitely be back. Incidentally, it's ideally located on a quiet street in Honfleur.

A must-visit in Honfleur; we will definitely return and recommend this restaurant. Thank you again for a lovely evening.

28/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at L’Escale! The quality was excellent, everything was beautifully presented, and the setting was really lovely. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I would especially recommend the salmon gravlax — it was an absolute taste bomb! 🤤 Everything else we had was delicious as well. We really enjoyed our evening and would definitely recommend this restaurant! ❤️
