07/05/2026: We spent a night there as a couple last night. The first impression was a bit awkward with a somewhat unusual welcome from an employee. The room was clean and spacious, but the next morning, after explaining the previous day's employee's slightly unusual welcome, the owner immediately rectified the situation by offering complimentary breakfast. I should mention that this employee had left the establishment, hence his somewhat nonchalant greeting. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the breakfast was excellent, very varied, and fresh. The staff that day were very competent, friendly, and helpful, so despite everything, I recommend this establishment.

19/07/2026: This restaurant, tucked away from the crowds, was a very pleasant surprise. We received a warm welcome despite it being busy that day. We had a delicious meal for €17 for the full menu. Fresh, simple, but well-prepared ingredients.

17/07/2026: Very disappointed. We went there 3 years ago and it was good, but since then there's been a change of ownership and we just went back... I don't recommend this restaurant.

06/07/2026: Too bad! After more than 15 minutes, I still couldn't place an order because the waitstaff was busy with themselves. Arrogance at its finest. Off to the next restaurant then.

03/07/2026: My husband and I stopped here while passing through and everything was fantastic! Grilled lobster for him and mussels and Camembert for me! Everything was amazing: wine, food, service, and the place was wonderful! I would recommend anyone to stop here!

29/04/2026: Le Vauban restaurant is a wonderful discovery in Normandy. It offers simple yet delicious home-style cooking, with well-prepared and flavorful dishes. It's the perfect place to share a lovely time with family, especially since the restaurant is very child-friendly. The setting is also a real plus: located on the harbor, the place is charming and pleasant, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

24/03/2026: The price did not reflect what was served on the plate: the scallops had rings in the scallop meat that hadn't been removed and were overcooked.

14/07/2026: The first time I ate a delicious pot of mussels with camembert; the pizza was also good. The service was very friendly. However, the fries, as is often the case in France, are not very good.. The second time, unfortunately, there was sand in my salad, but the pasta was very tasty.

24/07/2026: I had lunch at the marina today at a table of eight. First, the waitress asked us, "Would you like the menu or is that alright?", a rather surprising question given that we weren't familiar with the restaurant. I ordered the pasta carbonara, which arrived barely lukewarm and extremely peppery. The small amount of meat was essentially crispy fat that I had to pick out. My sister ordered the chicken parmesan, in which she had to search for the parmesan, and the dish was also lukewarm. The tiramisu for dessert was charged at €10, even though it was just a slice served directly onto the plate, taken from a larger, completely collapsed dish. I wouldn't necessarily recommend going to this restaurant; we were disappointed.
