02/09/2026: 10.73 USD for a pint of Guinness; assuming that is satire and beyond disrespectful; however I obviously begrudgingly paid? Each sip cost 2.50 USD…despite the establishment being listed in the worldwide directory of Amex restaurants… they don’t or no longer take american express. At least they don’t allow smoking inside.

28/08/2026: Great Hotel & delicious food! Rooms are comfy, clean and modern but need to walk up some stairs. Staff is very friendly will help with luggage. Dinner in the Restaurant was really delicious with great view on the Harbour. Many free parking spots nearby

24/07/2026: Went only in the restaurant and tried the food. Not so good looking and weird in textures. The desserts was good but it seemed defrosted so can't go wrong there. The view was great though.

26/08/2026: Absolutely terrible at both cooking and service. The dish was served cold, the meat was fatty and of poor quality. Very expensive. 70 euros for two steaks and cold fries. Definitely avoid this place.

09/08/2026: The staff were friendly and the service was good, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The grilled entrecôte with Camembert sauce was particularly disappointing. One of us doesn’t eat fish, so the steak was essentially the only suitable choice from the main courses. Unfortunately, the meat was tasteless, chewy and extremely dry. We asked for it not to be bloody, but instead it was cooked almost black. For a €28.90 steak, we expected much better. We also had the cod Orloff style, which was okay but nothing special. The vegetable salad was a rather random combination of cooked carrots, lettuce, onions, raspberries and apples. It looked nice, but unfortunately had very little flavour and really needed some dressing. We couldn’t finish our plates and had no desire to order dessert afterwards. A shame, because the staff were very friendly and the service itself was good.

29/04/2026: Le Vauban restaurant is a wonderful discovery in Normandy. It offers simple yet delicious home-style cooking, with well-prepared and flavorful dishes. It's the perfect place to share a lovely time with family, especially since the restaurant is very child-friendly. The setting is also a real plus: located on the harbor, the place is charming and pleasant, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

24/03/2026: The price did not reflect what was served on the plate: the scallops had rings in the scallop meat that hadn't been removed and were overcooked.

09/08/2026: The food was certainly okay, but not top-notch. But definitely sufficient for a campsite restaurant. The service was super friendly and they worked very hard. Big thumbs up to the staff 🫶🏻🫶🏻

13/09/2026: The food was downright bad: the battered fish was like a ball of flour, and the pasta was overcooked, watery, and very meager. On top of that, it was also on the expensive side. Unfortunately, a somewhat disappointing experience.
