25/08/2026: Absolutely fantastic Indian restaurant! The food was fresh, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered tasted authentic, with generous portions and a great variety to choose from. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. Really nice atmosphere too. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

06/09/2026: A first visit, but certainly not the last, to a magnificent setting where we learned about the culinary arts from Messrs. Coutanceau and Brossard. The service was seamless and highly professional, yet discreet and very friendly, with refined cuisine, a multitude of flavors so perfectly combined, served on superb tableware. The menu and service were exceptional from beginning to end. Michelin should be awarded four stars; you'll easily earn them. A huge congratulations to the entire team for all the work done behind the scenes that allowed us to have an unforgettable lunch.

16/09/2026: An excellent experience at Café du Nord, in a setting that immediately gives the impression of extending your vacation. The view of La Rochelle harbor greatly enhances the enjoyment of the moment. You can soak up the lively atmosphere of the quays, the maritime ambiance, and that special gentleness that makes you want to stay at the table rather than leave. I chose the seafood salad, which I found truly excellent. A very pleasant dish to enjoy in this setting, flavorful and perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the place. This is precisely what you expect from a restaurant on the harbor: a dish that brings pleasure and doesn't rely solely on the scenery to guarantee the success of the meal. But above all, I want to commend the quality of the service. We were there during the La Rochelle Fiction Festival, with all the crowds that entails, and the staff was absolutely delightful. Despite the busy atmosphere, the service remained efficient, friendly, and attentive. We never felt rushed or treated like just another customer to be served before moving on to the next. Maintaining this level of service during such a busy period deserves to be highlighted. Efficiency didn't overshadow friendliness, and that's what made the experience so enjoyable. You can fully appreciate your meal and the setting while feeling truly welcome. An excellent salad, a beautiful view, and a team that remained top-notch despite the crowds. All the ingredients were there for a wonderful time and a little taste of vacation amidst the festival. Well done and thank you to the whole team. A place I will gladly return to!

11/09/2026: The place might lead you to believe it's just another soulless café/brasserie on the port of La Rochelle, but think again! At Les Brocanteurs, they don't do flashy things; it's simple and effective, with a special mention for the fries, the beef, and the burgers. The staff is very professional and friendly, even during busy periods. A great place to eat simple but quality food at a fair price.

10/09/2026: September 2024 Passing through La Rochelle, this is a must-visit for fish and chips and a delicious French toast-style brioche. But that's not all...come and visit! April 2024 The welcome was spontaneous, warm, and top-notch. The fish and chips were a delight with their chive cream and delicious homemade fries. We had French toast-style brioche for dessert...pure bliss for a gourmand. This restaurant is a favorite for us. I'll be back... Visited in September, despite the heat, a friendly welcome, much respect to the staff. I thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips... I'll be back... March 2023 I wanted to eat some good meat, so we chose this brasserie. The welcome was friendly, the place very pleasant, and the meat was perfect, as were the homemade fries. We finished with a delicious gourmet coffee (French toast-style brioche, chocolate fondant, red berry panna cotta, and coconut macaroons). Excellent value for money.

24/05/2026: We had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very varied with high-quality products.

19/05/2026: The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the beach near the casino and a 25-minute walk from the Marcel Deflandre Stadium (recommended). We received a warm welcome at reception, and the staff at the bar and restaurant were particularly polite and efficient. As for the room, it was a decent size, with a comfortable bed and was clean, but could use a refresh and shows some signs of wear and tear.
