07/12/2025: We came to this restaurant hoping for authentic Chinese food, but the experience was terrible. The ramen and fried noodles had no flavor, and the crispy chicken was cold. Even worse, the hygiene was unacceptable—staff looked untidy and were coughing and sneezing. There was essentially no service, and we were placed at a table directly opposite the toilet despite plenty of empty tables. Extremely disappointing; we will not be returning.

07/03/2026: Sarawan is a neighborhood institution. The atmosphere, the staff, and the clientele are reminiscent of another era. It's a family-run restaurant, and its standard is superior to other restaurants in the area. The food remains consistently good and enjoyable, a reputation it has maintained for many years. You absolutely must try the caramel pork, but the homemade spring rolls are also worth the trip. And in reality, everything is delicious. In conclusion, you'll have a wonderful time at Sarawan, and I go back from time to time.

18/03/2026: A unique place. Beautiful, refined, and discreet. If you have the chance to meet Madame Tseng, you will discover her true passion and knowledge of tea. Whether for a tasting or to take home, you won't find a better address in Paris (or even the world?).

14/04/2026: We stayed at Generator Paris for 5 days last December, luckily we found this restaurant, our cravings to rice was satisfied,we ate here not just once, not twice but all through out our stays 🤣 . The food was great. Price is also affordable. If youre near the are try this restaurant. Highly recommended.

28/02/2026: We're a Taiwanese family, and we visited twice during our short 5-day trip to Paris. The food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the hot and sour soup, beef, shrimp, and spring rolls. Every dish was perfect with rice, and the owner was incredibly hospitable. Plus, it's open very late. Highly recommended!

19/04/2026: Excellent restaurant overall. The food was brilliant and the service extremely attentive. The chef, Tony Xu is so friendly, lovely and down to earth. He took the time to come and speak to all of the guests post service.This is definitely a restaurant would be worthy of a Michelin star.

17/04/2026: Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome from both the hotel and restaurant receptions. Throughout our meal, we were served by Julien, who was a delightful presence. His service was impeccable. He was kind and smiling all evening. He made us feel completely at ease, as it was our first time dining in a restaurant like this. The meal was absolutely delicious. I have no other words to describe how good it was. The kitchen staff did a fantastic job adapting the dishes for my partner, who doesn't eat fish. The wines were also excellent. A huge thank you to everyone for the wonderful evening you gave us. And another enormous thank you to Julien for the perfect service!

15/04/2026: A wonderful memory: pasta with cauliflower in a slightly spicy sauce, fresh and crunchy. In short, I loved it. The service was very friendly, the dining room simple but you feel relaxed here, especially after a generous plate of fresh pasta.

30/04/2026: I've been several times and each time we've eaten incredibly well. There's a wide selection of starters and main courses (all-you-can-eat kebabs and spring rolls on weekdays). The interior is beautifully decorated and the owner is very attentive to customers' needs. I recommend it 100%, plus it's AVS certified.

22/04/2026: I've been a regular at this restaurant for three years. In three years, it's changed a lot, and unfortunately, not for the better! It's no longer authentic North Vietnamese cuisine like it used to be. I went there in March and April. The portions are smaller, and the dishes are bland. No matter what you order, it's swimming in the same sauce. Depending on the dish, they might add basil leaves or a few sprigs of ginger. It's become a bad canteen. The portions are getting smaller, and the prices are going up. Before, there was plenty of space. Now, the tables are crammed together. You have to listen to your neighbors talking loudly. It's so noisy you can't even have a conversation. At the register, they mixed up the receipts and tried to charge us more than we ordered. So you have to be careful at the register. The cashier isn't friendly. No smile, no apology. He's just there to take your money, period. I won't be going back. If you want a good meal, keep walking.

20/04/2026: Really good food! The Pho was exceptional. The shop sells vorthern vietnamese food but the pho comes with bean sprouts and you get a bottle of Hoisin sauce on the side which is actually not used in Ha Noi. So the Pho is not 100% northern. It is a mix of North and South Pho but still one of the tastiest bowls of Pho I had!
