17/03/2026: A small, convenient, family-run hotel with good rates. The beds are comfortable, the staff welcoming, and the breakfast buffet perfectly adequate. However, the rooms are quite noisy, especially the doors, so be prepared to wake up early! The restaurant is quite good, with very reasonable prices.

11/03/2026: I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. It's very well located and easily accessible in the village center. The welcome was warm, the evening meals were excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful. I highly recommend it.

14/03/2026: One star for the location + two stars for the food. It's nothing to write home about, but it's decent; neither disappointed nor pleasantly surprised. However, the service is deplorable and unpleasant. After a five-minute wait in the entrance, even though the restaurant was practically empty, and a fifteen-minute wait at our table without a menu, he came to take our order, saying, "Don't sulk, I'm here." We weren't sulking, we were just waiting for the menu. Anyway. We asked for the menu, we chose our order, only to be told in the end that we couldn't order what we wanted because they weren't offering it at the moment. Sorry, but that's usually announced when you give them the menu. We ignored it; we were on vacation. When it came time to pay, we were met with a verbal tirade about the "meal voucher mafia" when we asked if they accepted restaurant vouchers, which my husband quickly put an end to, thank goodness.

14/03/2026: We ate without a reservation, it was perfect with a warm welcome... (even coming from Nontron). The establishment lives up to its name. See you soon!

15/03/2026: Overall the visit was pretty good, but we found it a bit expensive for two adults and two children at 70 euros 🫠

12/03/2026: In some of the tanks, especially the largest one with pike and zander, the water was completely cloudy; you couldn't see the fish. Practically all the glass in the fish tanks was green with algae. Many of the fish looked sick (black bass and perch). Yet we paid full price...
