07/06/2026: We were delighted to discover this authentic Indian restaurant in the heart of medieval Perigueux. We chose the €17 menu which was fantastically good value and offered a great veggie option. We added a traditional roti as we’d spotted one going to another table. Complimentary poppadoms arrived within minutes brought by our delightful waiter. The portions were generous and delicious.

11/06/2026: A wonderful discovery! This restaurant in the cobbled streets of old Périgueux was perfect. Everything was wonderful: the menu is splendid, the service and the dishes were impeccable, and the subtle harmony of flavors on the daily menu was impressive. Well done, sir! Just one small minor point: the sight of the meat carcasses in the aging rooms at the entrance. Oh well... to each their own! All in all, well done, gentlemen!

Everything is homemade and delicious: foie gras, duck confit, and desserts. The local beer is very good. The chefs put their heart into their dishes, and it shows. The service is impeccable!

18/06/2026: We chose Cacaothé for our wedding brunch, and we couldn't have dreamed of anything better! For us, it's simply the best brunch in Périgueux, so having them by our side for this event was a real joy. Everything was delicious, generous, and beautifully presented, with high-quality coffee and original drinks. Special mention goes to the iced caramel latte—a superb discovery! Although there were only two of them, they provided outstanding service: arriving well in advance to set up, efficient, smiling, and incredibly kind throughout the day. One detail we particularly appreciated: at the end of brunch, they went out of their way to carefully pack up all the leftovers so we could enjoy them afterward. Our guests loved it, and we received many compliments. A huge thank you to Cacaothé for their professionalism and kindness. We can't wait to come back for brunch!

02/07/2026: If I could have, I would have given it many more stars, I was so charmed by the place, the food, and the welcome! Everything was delicious and refined. The chef and her husband carefully select all the ingredients they use. We had a long chat with the owner, who seems to have a very broad knowledge of many subjects... The tea menu was also expertly chosen. It had been a long time since I'd been so captivated by a restaurant.

10/07/2026: I was lucky enough to discover this Italian pasta restaurant and, over time, get to know the owners. It's always a real pleasure to return. The pasta is simply excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and true Italian expertise. The owners are lovely, always smiling, and take the time to chat with their customers, which makes each visit even more enjoyable. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. If you love authentic Italian cuisine and want to have a wonderful time, go for it—you won't be disappointed!

01/06/2026: The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The pasta is cooked to perfection, and the sauces come from the owner's family, who are originally from northern Italy. We tried the arrabbiata and amatriciana sauces, which were delicious. We also had dessert and two coffees, which were also excellent. There's a small terrace on the street and a more spacious, very comfortable dining room inside. A very pleasant lunch at a reasonable price.
