22/07/2026: A hidden gem in the heart of Périgueux's old town. A discreet stone facade. As soon as you step inside, the original cuisine captivates you and takes you on a journey with familiar ingredients, but when they appear on your plate, they are elevated to new heights. A complete success. I highly recommend the house cocktail made with prosecco, cognac, lemon, etc... After that, the world seems a better place. Go for it!

18/07/2026: We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, which we recently discovered. We enjoyed a meal on the covered patio. The decor is lovely. The food and service were excellent. We were looking for a good restaurant to end our vacation and we weren't disappointed. The little extra that makes all the difference for me: the patio is non-smoking. As a non-smoker, I'm always forced to ask for a table inside to avoid being bothered by cigarette smoke during my meal, and therefore can rarely enjoy the outdoors. This should be mandatory in all restaurants, or at the very least, there should be two clearly separate areas for smokers and non-smokers. I really appreciated this. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The foie gras escalope as a starter, the half pigeon as a main course, and the chocolate tartlet for dessert, not to mention the amuse-bouche, the petits fours, and the wine (an irresistible Maranges), everything was delicious. By far the best restaurant in Périgueux.

Service was exemplary and we thoroughly enjoyed each dish. I had a petit salad with chicken intestines which I have to say was one of the most delicious dishes I've tasted for awhile. The fillet of fish with a beautiful vegetable sauce was also just as delicious. I finished off with the traditional dessert and was completely satisfied by the end. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its food, service and atmosphere.
