The foie gras escalope as a starter, the half pigeon as a main course, and the chocolate tartlet for dessert, not to mention the amuse-bouche, the petits fours, and the wine (an irresistible Maranges), everything was delicious. By far the best restaurant in Périgueux.

19/05/2026: Wow what a find. Being early diners in France is not an easy thing but we wandered into this beautiful little restaurant. We honed in on the 3 course menu for 29€ and made our choices. Service was exemplary and we thoroughly enjoyed each dish. I had a petit salad with chicken intestines which I have to say was one of the most delicious dishes I've tasted for awhile. The fillet of fish with a beautiful vegetable sauce was also just as delicious. I finished off with the traditional dessert and was completely satisfied by the end. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its food, service and atmosphere.

The starter was a very varied and high-quality buffet, the chicken with porcini and morel mushrooms was delicious, and the salted caramel cream was excellent. Plus, the owner and chef came to check on us to make sure everything was alright 🧑‍🍳 Highly recommended 🍽️
