23/08/2026: Excellent experience! The galettes are fantastic and come in all price ranges (from €6 to €15). My partner stepped out of her comfort zone and ordered the goat cheese and blueberry galette, and she loved it! I haven't even finished my Peguère yet, which I also highly recommend.

22/08/2026: We had a reservation for 1:00 PM and they didn't take our order until 1:35 PM. The most infuriating thing was that people arrived later and their orders were taken first, I suppose because they were so overwhelmed they didn't notice. This really spoiled the experience, which was a shame because the crepes are delicious. I guess these things happen when you take on more reservations than you can handle.

20/03/2026: Extremely welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend it! It has a real family feel, you feel right at home. We had a mixed platter for around €20 and two cocktails, a mojito and a passion fruit margarita, both €9, which were very good quality. The service is incredible; if we could give it 6 stars, we would gladly do so (as a bonus, a small shot was offered by the customers, who were just as friendly as the staff!!).

27/08/2026: The service was very friendly, to be honest. Without realizing it, I think we arrived a little late, as it was lunchtime for us, but people in this area tend to eat earlier. Even so, they welcomed us and offered us some options. All the waiters were incredibly kind.
27/08/2026: Perfect except for a small error with the service. Quickly forgotten (young people for the summer). Excellent value for money.
You can go there with complete confidence.

17/07/2026: A really lovely spot for a great evening with family or friends: the appetizers/tapas to share (or not) are delicious, and the main courses are absolutely excellent. Special mentions for the grilled cuttlefish, the scallops, and the burger. ❤️❤️❤️ We'd already been there as a couple, and this time we came back as a family. We'll definitely be back! 👍

The service was very good and quick. The value for money was quite good, in line with market prices.

A fantastic find in Saint-Lary! We had a wonderful time at Le Gros Minet. The varied menu truly offers something for everyone, with particularly good options for vegetarians. The dishes are delicious, generous, and beautifully presented, all in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Special mention to the team for their warm welcome and excellent service 👌
We highly recommend this restaurant, whether you're with family or friends. We'll gladly return on our next visit to Saint-Lary! 😊🏔️
25/08/2026: It’s OK. Same as every French mountain resort, they still struggle to serve vegetarian food (maybe more pertinent with recent climate based burning?) The poke bowl was balanced but uninspiring. You sit outside with smokers (pffftt). Wine list very limited by the glass, especially white (2 options). Plus side, they were cool with the dog, it was a chilled lunch time vibe, the Jamaican coffee was delicious and the service was good.

His motto: I cook simply but with the best ingredients thanks to my network of partners
Example: he partnered with one of the best cheesemakers in the world to offer the finest matured cheeses of the region on his menu (the P'tit Mignon sheep's cheese made by the 4th best cheesemaker in the world, D. Bouchait)
In addition to being a chef, he is a farmer and producer with 1400 head of cattle
The meat is of exceptional quality, meltingly tender and cooked to perfection
The desserts are equally impressive; I recommend the homemade blueberry tart topped with rum-infused whipped cream
All this at very reasonable prices
Oh, and the chef is a big rugby fan and, incidentally, a fan of the Toulouse club

We ate there twice.
The appetizer platter was excellent and generous, with a selection of cheeses and charcuterie.
The raclette was good and very filling.

Côté restaurant : merlu excellent, cuisson parfaite, sauce citronnée, accompagné d’une pomme de terre en robe de chambre bien fondante et de ratatouille. Assiette de charcuterie copieuse, variée et excellente.
Côté hôtel : chambre simple, propre, avec placard penderie, cintres en bois (ce qui est rare), TV, Wi-Fi, climatisation, salle d’eau avec toilettes indépendantes.
Très bon rapport qualité /prix ! Nous recommandons ++ cet établissement.
05/05/2024: Endroit agréable pour manger en terrasse. Nous n'avons pris qu'un plat chacun et c'était très bon. On aurait apprécié un peu plus de ratatouille d'ailleurs, tellement on l'a aimée !
Pas d'hésitation à avoir pour ce lieu nous concernant.
