01/05/2024: Very disappointed during my last visit.
Glass of undrinkable rosé and apparently not possible to open another bottle, a goat's cheese salad with sandwich bread and a crumb of goat's cheese and a low-end ready-made sauce and far too much in the inedible salad!! (olive oil and balsamic vinegar would be much more appropriate and not more expensive) and real bread toasts!!!! In short, I wasn't the only one returning my dish that day 🤔

The room is spacious and ultra comfortable.
The restaurant is very cozy. The dishes are truly delicious and prepared with fresh, seasonal produce.
Thank you again for this superb stay.
I recommend 1000%.

02/04/2024: Very nice home. Very good planter punch. Very good Three Cheese Penne with a very good red wine. Followed by a colonel, my captain. A very good evening with friends in a good atmosphere. Small outdoor terrace with sofas, ideal for getting some fresh air. Thank you again for the welcome and the quality of the dishes.

16/03/2024: Beautiful place. We had a lovely welcome from the friendly staff. The dining chairs are comfortable, with plenty of space between the tables. The food was magnificent. Every course was a real treat. The whole experience made for a lovely evening. Will definitely visit again.

31/03/2024: I discovered this place when I came to eat with colleagues for lunch and I found that for a starter and dessert formula the price is well worth the quality of the products which are fresh with a starter of the day which was very good and a main course and dessert which have exactly the same feeling
I recommend and I would come back with pleasure

17/04/2024: We only had dinner and breakfast.
The welcome, the staff very friendly, discreet, attentive to the customer. The cuisine is fine, very good. We were able to park and stay the night with the camper van, in the park. Exceptional breakfast and excellent too. We thank those in charge as well as the staff. I highly recommend this restaurant/hotel with spa, swimming pool, beautiful terrace and magnificent park.

01/04/2024: Very pleasant stay, quiet, close to sites to visit (Les Andelys 10 minutes away, Gaillon very close and Giverny 30 minutes away).
The restaurant is pleasant and the food is very good. The service would benefit from work.
Maeva at the hotel reception is friendly and gave us very good advice on visits to the surrounding area.
31/03/2024: Very pleasant and friendly stay, the restaurant of very good quality as well as a very good welcome and service for the room manager….the reception pleasant and welcoming…. The setting is relaxing. I found the little white rabbit also wonderful….

29/03/2024: A little disappointed, in a menu costing more than thirty euros, only three dishes to choose from, the first of which was already sold out at the start of the service.
Beautiful presentation and top service.
20/02/2024: Another good time spent at La Gazette. Mastered cooking, “homemade”, a presentation that delights us. Excellent, refined dishes which allow us to have lunch or dinner in one of the most chic restaurants in Evreux, if not the most chic, for €32 appetizers - starter - main course - dessert or €18.90 for main course lunch /gourmet coffee.
In addition, the warm welcome and attentive service are appreciable. We don't have to ask for anything.

06/03/2024: A true institution in Ezy-sur-Eure, the Black Bird truly deserves its reputation.
Homemade cuisine, old-fashioned pub/bar atmosphere which does not contrast with restaurant activity.
Despite a significant peak in activity and the presence of more customers than expected for lunch by the restaurant, the service remained professional, helpful and attentive.
