15/12/2025: Ideally located on the riverbank, this hotel boasts a very pleasant setting. The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and the food excellent. The owner is a true character who adds personality to the establishment. The only slight drawback: the rooms are a bit dated, but clean and recently refreshed. A charming place to stay.

03/08/2024: A dinner of exceptional flavor! I ate such delicious food! The tomato mozzarella salad: the best mozzarella of my life (although I'm not a fan of the basics). It was melt-in-your-mouth, tasty, the tomatoes at the perfect temperature, the plate was generous and the sanitation was perfect, everything was there! The strawberry cup for dessert was the best ever (better than the ones from my garden!) Melt in the mouth, dark red, naturally sweet, room temperature, no acidity, excellent quality! I enjoyed myself and congratulations for the brilliant service, for agreeing to make me a plate of charcuterie of my choice and serving it late! The flowery and intimate terrace is very pretty! A gem of an address! I recommend 1000%!

21/12/2024: L’hygiène laisse à désirer, les repas sont froids, vulgaires tambouille de cantine militaire, passer votre chemin. Si vraiment vous y allez pas la peine d’aller côté restaurant, ce sont les mêmes cuisines que du côté cafétéria.

17/03/2026: Stayed overnight Great place, great welcome! Super rooms, comfortable beds and shower with good water pressure The restaurant is average but everything else more than makes up for it 👍

19/02/2026: Upon arrival, what a place! Friendly welcome. Spacious room (Reinette). Large dining room. I have to remove one star because it doesn't deserve its "local cuisine" status. Nothing is homemade (maybe the deviled eggs), not even the fries. And what about the frozen soufflé? It tasted like ice cubes and something from the fridge. What a shame! But I'll be back.

29/06/2024: Di passaggio per visitare i castelli della Loira abbiamo pernottato a Lapalisse scegliendo questa struttura sia come hotel - semplice ma confortevole - che come ristorante. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla gentile accoglienza, dalla genuinità dei prodotti offerti, per esempio il patè con ottima composta di cipolle o la morbidissima entrecote, e dal rapporto prezzo/qualità

30/09/2024: de passage a Montluçon, on c est arrêté a la boulangerie pour y faire une pause .leurs pâtisseries excellant les serveuses souriante et agréables.

19/09/2024: Sur pizza, une larme de sauce tomate, une larme de jambon blanc pas possible de couper plus fine ! Que de la pâte à manger... pour 3€60. Le bénéfice est colossal
