01/10/2026: We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Segustero, and everything was perfect.
The preparation and attentive service, the tasteful decorations that perfectly matched our wishes, and the delicious and generous cuisine were all exceptional.
This service exceeded our expectations and greatly contributed to the success of our day.

10/10/2026: A warm welcome awaits you in this tastefully decorated establishment where we had a very pleasant time.
The autumn soup was a real treat, as were the tripe and trotters (being the gourmand I am, I would have loved more!). It's nice to see a restaurant that updates its menu seasonally.
24/09/2026: We had a reservation for 12:30 for 5 people, including an elderly person.
We arrived around 12:15 and the receptionist remarked that we were early! That put us off.
The meal wasn't anything special. We were disappointed. We won't be going back!

The dishes are refined, and I recommend the sea bream with sautéed vegetables, chilled diced tomatoes with mango, and a light vinaigrette. Very good and quick service.

01/06/2026: The room was very basic but the bed was comfortable.
The hotel is very well located.
The staff were very friendly.
What will make us return is Mr. Michel's warm welcome; we have rarely seen someone so attentive to their guests.

Hotel restaurant la nouvelle citadelle

11/07/2026: I called in here as it started to sheet with rain on my drive south.
I had eaten here last summer and today was served an amazing 'planche' ( see photo ).
Highly recommended if you are stopping in Sisteron.

03/05/2026: The room was quite dilapidated, with significant damage to the walls, a broken shutter that wouldn't close, cobwebs, dead insects, and accumulated dust on the baseboards and pipes. There was mold and grime on the shower hose, the bottom of the glass, and in the corners of the shower tray. The toilet was so small that a seated adult man's knees hit the door. The bathroom ventilation was so noisy it was unbearable. There was no soundproofing between the room and the rest of the hotel. The TV was very small, propped against the wall by a bath towel. The patio door didn't close properly. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, and the view of Sainte-Baume and the citadel was pleasant. However, considering the state of the room, the price was clearly too high. We will not be staying there again. There is no free parking nearby.

Perfect for visiting Sisteron.
21/12/2025: We requested a room for three nights, but unfortunately we had to leave early Sunday afternoon. The attendant asked the owner if we could pay for only two nights, which she refused. I noticed the room hadn't been cleaned, so we were being charged more for a service not provided. I feel sorry for the employees who go out of their way for such an unprofessional owner.

21/09/2024: Très déçue, pas par le service n'y par le repas mais par le bruit intenable causé par les enfants de clients qui ne s'occupent pas de calmer les cris de leurs enfants
Nous n'arrivons pas à tenir une conversation tant c'est bruyant
Nous avons signifié notre mécontentement au personnel mais rien n'y a fait !!!!!
Des clients ont même écourté leur repas pour fuir ce vacarme
Nous aurions dû en faire autant
18/07/2024: Dans le hall d une galerie marchande, une carte équilibrée et raisonnable en terme de prix. De biens beaux burgers originaux qui comblent un gros appétit. Ns avons passés un moment agréable.

09/07/2024: Tout est parfait. De l'entrée au dessert, des produits frais, une cuisine raffinée et originale, une carte renouvelée chaque mois. Julie et Joan sont toujours au rdv. Une adresse à ne pas manquer si vous passez vers Sisteron, foncez les yeux fermés.
