14/08/2026: Excellent dinner for two with my husband. All the dishes are made on-site and are truly excellent. The trout was succulent and the beef bourguignon was so good you'll want more. The plates are served empty and with plenty of sauce. The desserts are really good, without being too sweet. We will be back.

14/08/2026: While passing through the Ardèche region, we discovered this bistro (thanks to Google reviews) which truly deserves the title of "Bistronomic." We discovered excellent cuisine, enhanced by refined desserts. (As beautiful as it was delicious!) Thank you for this culinary discovery!

09/07/2026: What a delightful surprise L’Aubépine was! The concept of a surprise menu intrigued us, and the result delighted us. The cuisine is inventive, the dishes meticulously prepared, the chef shares his inspirations with us, and we had a wonderful evening, discovering a series of delicious flavors. Admittedly, it's not as affordable as a burger at Buffalo Grill, but we'll cherish the memory for a long time.

08/07/2026: Wow, what a hidden gem. Honest seasonal flavors, combined with hospitality and perfectly paired wines. The chef handles everything from cooking and serving to explanations—the complete picture. A delicious Michelin-star level surprise menu for less than €50 per person.

09/08/2026: A quality restaurant. A limited menu ensures the quality of the ingredients. The menu is beautifully presented. Friendly and attentive service. During the warmer months, dine al fresco under the linden trees. Reservations recommended. Approximately twenty seats available.

31/07/2026: We had an impromptu lunch in Aubenas and stumbled upon this little gem of a place on a side street. What a wonderful find! The owner takes care of everything: cooking, serving, and taking orders with a smile and genuine friendliness. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. We were able to try the Ardèche caillettes, a regional specialty. Finally, the owner is very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this restaurant!

24/07/2026: We discovered this restaurant a year ago and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, promising ourselves we'd return with family or friends. This year, we opted for the "7 Courses" menu, a seven-course meal for €48. It was a delight of varied and perfectly balanced flavors and aromas—dishes that brought a smile to our faces and provided pure gustatory satisfaction. The house cocktail, made with carefully selected, high-quality ingredients, was excellent. The welcome was warm and spontaneous, and the setting was very pleasant and shaded on the terrace. A big thumbs up! And of course, we highly recommend this delightful restaurant!

18/07/2026: We arrived by chance thanks to the convenient motorcycle parking right next door. It doesn't look like much, but the welcome was excellent and the lunch was very good for a reasonable price!

31/07/2026: Excellent restaurant! The lentil salad was delicious and the beef chuck was perfectly cooked. We received a very warm welcome and the service was friendly and attentive. Plus, the view of Aubenas Castle is magnificent. A truly wonderful place that we highly recommend!
