28/12/2024: On leave for the end of year celebrations, also being a restaurateur, we had a pleasant time at the aperitif, a very pleasant time at the meal, and there was not enough, we were so good that the we also stayed afterwards for a very long time of coffee and digestive…. Well done and thank you for your welcome, don’t change anything….

22/09/2024: The meal, what a disappointment. How can you butcher beef kidneys like that? Untrimmed kidneys, cut into slices with the kidney fat and sautéed in a pan. Super hard and rubbery.
The dish of the day, cuttlefish, a large piece of rubber with 4 half-shots. The toilets are dirty. The floor hasn't been washed for several weeks. Under the sink, there is an inch of dirt, hair, etc. The toilet doors are dirty. No toilet paper.

Je l’ai découvert en me promenant dans le centre ville.
La carte m’attirait, la réservation a été faite. Le moment venu, j’ai été bien accueilli par une équipe souriante.
La commande a été prise rapidement et les plats sont arrivés : tout était délicieux.
Franchement pour un menu de 28€, le soir, il n’y a absolument rien à dire !

Service: 2 stars: a waitress bordering on excessive familiarity
Room: 4 stars: clean, well decorated, quiet.
Cuisine: 1 star: very (too?) plentiful plates but not good: overcooked meat, (industrial?) sauce which drowns the salad, etc. We have the impression that the cook is trying to compensate for the lack of quality with an excess of quantity.

26/09/2024: On the map, I found few things that appealed to me. My wife quickly found what she was looking for. My first choice was not available in the evening. We didn't want to offer a side dish without the main course. When I said I just wanted something to drink, I was told that wasn't possible. Two customers - two main courses. So we left the restaurant.

18/09/2024: Excellent meal in a very pleasant and very elegant setting. Pleasant and attentive service.
12/09/2024: Service ok. But lousy meal, foie gras ok as a starter, but after main courses langoustines and me full of sauces which completely distort the taste of the dish!!!.
Specialty soufflé crepe dessert, meh, nothing more.
Fortunately we had chosen a good wine to wash this down.
Price €210 for 2.
It's not up to standard and there are much better in the region, particularly in Uzege.

11/12/2024: We had a wonderful lunch at the Bar Tabac Brasserie in Arles France. Right off the square with lots of atmosphere.
We had butternut squash soup (Veloute' de butternut, Poe'lee' de champignons, lord grille et ses croutons) actually really thick, creamy and rich soup with lardons (small pieces of pork) and divine crunchy croutons.
In the USA this would be a bowl of soup, in France it's a meal and evidence of a dedication to making food a sensuous experience.
07/12/2024: I enjoyed myself, quality of service, quality on the plate, very welcoming and warm person I am not from Arles, but nevertheless I felt at home there I know that when I come back, I will not look for a another address a pleasure to return to this beautiful place of people who put their heart into it and it shows. Thank you very much for this moment and this delicious meal. See you soon.

14/09/2024: Stopped for a quick bite when little else open on a ferociously windy day. Although the outside isn’t glamorous the Cesare salad was one of the best we have had in France! Lovely hospitable staff also - a great find that we would highly recommend for lunch.
08/09/2024: Small place in the middle of nothing on the way towards Les Salines, a nice place even in high winds with boules players, the owner is very pleasant

12/09/2024: I spent one night in this hotel. Very warm welcome and very accommodating staff. The room (a sort of bungalow) was dilapidated and the cleanliness was not really up to par (especially the pillows)... The environment is landscaped on one side and on the other it feels like a dump...
Damage !
Furthermore, the bedding was comfortable.

Soupe de poisson délicieuse et gardianne du taureau et ses riz camarguais nous avon aimé. Desserts maisons idem.
Nous reviendrons un dimanche pour pouvoir goûté le poisson grillé.
28/08/2024: Sans hésitation nous recommandons le restaurant du Mas Saint-Bertrand à Salin de Giraud. Cadre inédit et atypique.
Accueil chaleureux, établissement familial, comme à la maison.
Service rapide.
Il faut absolument goûter la gardianne de Toro avec le riz rouge et le gâteau aux fruits de Nicole.
