21/01/2026: We came for lunch, all the staff are great, the food is delicious, the oysters are succulent, there was a bit of a wait for the food but it was worth it!

15/12/2025: Booked for the morning. Pleasant welcome, quite good food, reasonable menu. Worth noting is the selective and discerning wine list at very reasonable prices.
26/11/2025: A very pleasant surprise. A warm welcome, with plenty of humor. We loved everything. The decor, the wine selection focused on Bergerac. The fish soup was delicious. The salmon, the linguine with shrimp, the tuna... in short, everything was excellent.

28/12/2025: Until now, we'd been snacking on a bowl of smelt with a beer on our way back from the market. Today, we had lunch at La Camaraderie. I opted for the fish and chips. Everything is homemade and of exceptional quality and freshness. The fish was fresh and breaded just before cooking. Delicious homemade fries. I also had a gourmet coffee. I thought it was expensive (€8.60), but when I saw the variety of desserts and the quality of everything being homemade, I thought it was worth trying. The waiter explained how everything is homemade, and it was nice to know how he makes his little chocolate fondant 😋. A hidden gem to discover.
My partner had the seafood sauerkraut (the dish of the day). He wasn't disappointed either.
I highly recommend this restaurant!

Chez Papa!!

01/02/2026: We rented a bungalow last summer in this park, booking directly with the owner.
It was very well-equipped and reasonably priced.
The complex was quiet, the pool was lovely and clean, and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. Located in the center of the island, it's a convenient base for exploring. Shops are easily accessible. I highly recommend it.

23/12/2025: This is our second time eating at Les Alizés, and it's just as good as ever.
We had lunch there today with our two daughters, aged 3 and 4 and a half, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
The ingredients are high-quality, well-selected, seasonal, and locally sourced. The menu changes regularly, which is a real plus. Everything is 100% homemade, for both children and adults.
A truly wonderful place in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, which we highly recommend. We'll be back! 👍

01/11/2025: Disappointment. The flambéed prawns were undercooked, the peppers were raw, and the dish was bland. The "gourmet coffee" at €9.50 was really lacking in quality.
Frankly, it's a shame, you have the location to do great things. The service was adequate. The price is very high considering the quality.
31/10/2025: This restaurant doesn't deserve its bad reputation at all. Good food, friendly service (thank you, Anthony!), and a prime location... what more could you ask for to have a great time? Many thanks to the team at L'Écailler, we'll be back next year!

02/01/2026: Long wait. Cold meal. Stressed and disorganized staff. They don't help each other. Luckily, the gourmet coffee made up for it. More of a bar than a place to eat. Expensive.
27/12/2025: A very disappointing experience. The welcome was unfriendly and the hygiene seemed inadequate. A dog came out from behind the counter, put its paws on it, growled, and there was fur everywhere. It also growled at a little boy, which made me very uncomfortable in a public place. Regarding the gambling, we left with a strong sense of unease and the impression that the system was unclear. I do not recommend it.

02/09/2024: Petit endroit qui nous attire par l odeur de barbecue
Ce fut parfait ! La formule est simple mais terriblement efficace
Des conserve de terrine faites maison pour l apéro en attendant que les viandes cuisent au barbecue.
La cuisson des ribs est juste parfaite toute la viande tombe de l os
Les frites maison ainsi que les sauces maison sont un délice
Il faut ajouter un service agréable au petit soin qui vienne voir régulièrement toutes les tables

Pour la deuxième fois que nous venons nous avons mangé ribs et poulet frites la crème à la vanille était top
Le personnel très sympa, souriant et surtout très bons commerçants

une carte variéee et un super accueil !

20/08/2024: Crêperie ambiance familiale, grande terrasse au calme . De généreuses crêpes complètes qui ont régalé les enfants avec des frites maison - wahooo ! Une bière, visiblement locale, de Boyard très bonne et une gaufre maison « Charline » à tomber ! Nous reviendrons pour tester les coupes glacées que nous avons vu en terrasse et qui sont énormes !!! Un accueil sympathique pour le toutou aussi - écuelle d’eau proposée , un peu d’attente due au fait maison mais rien de grave quand on est en vacances et que le service est convivial ! À bientôt !
