03/02/2026: It's difficult to review a crêperie, as the process can seem quite standard. And yet... We almost missed it, simply because L’Olympia is also a performance venue: the facade and the curtains that largely obscure the interior might lead you to believe it's not a restaurant in the traditional sense. This would be a mistake, especially since it's one of the few establishments open on Mondays in Cognac, and highly rated. Once inside, the surprise is delightful: modern, stylish, and tasteful decor, and a pleasant atmosphere. The welcome and service are impeccable, warm, and efficient. The prices are very reasonable, and the freshness and quality of the ingredients make all the difference, both for the savory and sweet crêpes. A simple, honest, and very well-run establishment that we recommend without hesitation: Crêperie L’Olympia.

Breads were fantastic, the pork pluma was perfection with risotto and baby vegetables. Dessert fresh profiteroles were excellent, best meal in Cognac. Space is small so recommend reservation

21/02/2026: Extremely disappointed. We booked a birthday meal for 12 people, and for a €50 menu, we received inedible foie gras, bland meat, undercooked vegetables, and a poached apple instead of a crumble. There were no tablecloths on the tables, and the hygiene was appalling. In short, clearly not up to standard! I will not be returning and would not recommend L'Atelier des Quais.

18/10/2025: Everything homemade. Authentic and welcoming owner. The starter, main course, and dessert offer excellent value for money. A great place to stay while visiting Cognac.
