22/07/2026: While the quality of the food and its reasonable prices were undeniable, the waitress's service was questionable. Literally five seconds after my wife put down her fork, our plates were snatched away without any explanation.
I mentioned this to a manager, but she showed no concern or apology for the inconsiderate behavior.
15/07/2026: I came to eat lunch with a friend on the terrace today. The service was impeccable and attentive. Solène was very pleasant and served us from beginning to end. Thank you so much to her. The dishes and desserts were excellent. We will definitely recommend and return to Le Comptoir de Paris 🙂

05/07/2026: Excellent Italian cuisine. The mixed salad was very fresh. The risotto was delicious and very generous. The new owner is very friendly and attentive to customers. The dining room has a warm and inviting atmosphere. We didn't suffer from the heat thanks to the large ceiling fans. We will be back very soon.
04/07/2026: Very good, new owner, redone decor, now offers Italian specialties in addition to raclette and fondue, everything is very good, I recommend it 😊

17/05/2026: Avoid at all costs!!!! The owner is rude to customers and reprimands them in a shocking way!
In addition, the squat toilet is filthy and far too small!
12/05/2026: I sat down at a table for two, and the waitress (owner), as friendly as a prison guard, came over to make a comment, saying, "This isn't a service table." Nothing distinguishes a service table from a non-service table. Furthermore, I ordered a café crème, and I'm still looking for the cream; it was just a simple café au lait. So, I paid and left without finishing my drink. To top it all off, the place is incredibly run-down, and let's not even mention the squat toilets where your feet get wet.

18/05/2026: Insufficient cooking time. Hygiene definitely needs improvement because food poisoning is a real possibility. What a shame.
11/05/2026: Passing through Bourges on a Thursday evening, we happened to have dinner at this restaurant. The steak tartare was excellent, well-seasoned, and the ribeye steak was perfectly aged. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the music playlist was great. We highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: I was very disappointed by this experience. For an €18 set menu, I expected much better. The portions were quite small, especially the starter. The main course wasn't huge either, but it was extremely greasy, and I couldn't even finish it.
The dessert, rice pudding, was just as disappointing; it was more like a bowl of rice mixed with milk than actual rice pudding.
The worst part, however, was the service, which was appalling from beginning to end. The staff were unfriendly, gave the impression of being a bother, and showed no attention to the customers. Between the poor quality of the food, the insufficient portions, and the unpleasant welcome, the value for money was very poor.
I do not recommend this establishment and I will not be returning.

09/03/2026: The venue is very pleasant, and the interior space is ideal for hosting around fifty people for a seated meal. The outdoor area, with its relaxed, informal atmosphere, is a significant bonus. Anne's professionalism is noteworthy and much appreciated. The package also included a photo booth and audio phone, which added fun to the evening and provided a great way to capture memories. It was perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the new Courcillière to anyone I know.
