The warm welcome and sunny smile of the owner, the delicious and very affordable food.
I love going there just to stop by for a drink and I'm always very well received.
06/12/2025: A perfect place for a quick meal, simple but effective cuisine.
I had the 250g butcher's cut of flank steak with homemade fries and smoked salmon. The meat was high quality, and the lemon-basil sauce for the salmon was excellent. The service was top-notch; don't pay attention to the bad reviews...
Try it for yourself, you'll be surprised; the team is very professional.
I think Philippe Etchebest's visit was very beneficial to them.
An address I'll definitely keep in mind for my next trips to Brive.

The food was just average... the sirloin steak wasn't flavorful, and the vegetables were undercooked. We won't be going back because it's quite expensive.
09/11/2025: We had a wonderful evening. The staff were very attentive to our requests, the presentation of the dishes was exquisite, and the food was perfect. The portions were generous and delicious.

Wonderful and professional welcome from the entire team, with a special mention for the very pleasant waitress.
Record-time service, ideal for workers.
Unbeatable value for money, there's plenty on the plate, a multitude of choices for starters, main courses, and desserts of the day, and of course, it's delicious... one of the best traditional restaurants in Tulle, in a setting steeped in history where time seems to have stood still.
Le Bon Accueil is the France we love!

02/12/2025: I didn't have a chance to fully enjoy the accommodation as I was only passing through, but the owner kindly allowed me to use the toilet, whereas the local betting shop had refused me access without a purchase. Having a long drive ahead of me, I'm truly grateful for this courtesy.
It was very clean and nicely decorated.

23/09/2024: We stopped at the Flunch in Brive-la-Gaillarde on our way to the North from our vacations.
What a pleasant surprise! This is one of the cleanest Flunchs we have visited.
We saw the manager ensuring that everything was in order, with dynamic and organized teams.
The welcome was warm, and above all, the dishes were served piping hot.
Congratulations to the entire team for this impeccable service.
We will come back with pleasure.

14/09/2024: Grosse déception. Groupe de 8 personnes avec 8 plats (sans boissons) et que des erreurs :
- 3 plats froids,
- 2 plats apportés avec oignons alors que ces derniers étaient demandés sans,
- certaines salades sans vinaigrette
- foie gras poêlés et gésiers froids dans la salade Périgord,
- Frites surgelées.
En bref, les prix sont élevés pour la qualité des plats sortants de la cuisine.
Le seul point positif sera l’ambiance conviviale et la bienveillance de la serveuse.
08/09/2024: Nous sommes venus manger un midi durant les vacances, en famille. Le cadre de la terrasse est très sympa, à l'ombre et bien arborée.
Le service, par de jeunes employés, est à revoir: plat du jour non connu, desserts proposés dans le menu enfant non sus, on nous a demandé à 2 reprises le dessert souhaité pour les enfants et il y a finalement eu une erreur....
Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, c'est très cher pour la qualité. Des galettes de sarrasin sont proposés jusqu'à 24e sur la carte. La carte est à rallonge, ce n'est pas bon signe. Lorsque notre assiette nous est servie, cela confirme nos doutes: du réchauffé, sans goût. Bref, nous sommes ressortis déçus et en ayant faim. Nous ne conseillons pas ce restaurant
