25/08/2026: Passing through Uzerche, and despite arriving a little late without a reservation, we received a very warm welcome. The food was excellent, the fish cooked to perfection. Everything was flawless; the presentation, the service—everything was perfect. The restaurant's decor was also very attractive. We will definitely return if we are ever back in the area.

02/08/2026: Had a delicious lunch and it was nice that the menu could be adapted for vegetarians. Beautiful, classic-looking ambiance with a lovely terrace and a beautiful view.

26/06/2026: I hadn't been back for over a year, very disappointed by my last lunch there, but today, since I was arriving to do my shopping at noon, I decided to try the set menu. And I'm so glad I did. It was excellent and a generous portion. A seafood casserole served with broccoli, carrots, and rice, followed by a delicious dessert (fruit salad, chocolate cream, yogurt cake) for €15.90 (€17.90 if you also order the starter, which was a melon medley). So, I'm going to happily resume my lunches/shopping trips here. My second visit was this Wednesday with a friend, and unfortunately, most of our potatoes were raw, and a few others were so burnt they were inedible. We reported it, but the second batch wasn't much better. What a disappointment! But the service is still very pleasant, with a young woman who is attentive and smiling.

03/07/2026: Excellent food, a very warm welcome – you couldn't ask for anything better for a hiking trip. We had dinner there three nights in a row (varied meals) and they prepared our packed lunches. All the best, you truly deserve it.

26/09/2026: We received a very warm welcome. We came in the evening for ice cream, and the waiter was very friendly and found us a table outside despite the crowd. The service was impeccable, and we will gladly return.

13/09/2026: One star is missing because we ordered desserts which arrived after a delay, and on top of that, the crepe was cold; I don't know if that's normal. Otherwise, the service and welcome were excellent. We come often, and the food is divinely good. This slight delay in dessert won't stop us from coming back.

18/09/2026: We had heard about this establishment, so we wanted to see for ourselves. An evening with friends, a cozy atmosphere. A lovely lady was very knowledgeable about wine, and the wine cellar was superb. We followed her recommendations for the wines, and we weren't disappointed by the selection. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and were even treated to a homemade terrine in addition to our main course. We had a very pleasant time.

07/09/2026: We'd been wanting to eat at this restaurant for several years, especially after the "On va déguster" video praising Françoise Bleu's generous, traditional cuisine. Greeted by a rather aggressive dog, we were taken aback by Françoise's somewhat cold welcome. We didn't dwell on it, though; the most important thing was the food! We started with a sweetbread pie (tourtou), but the sweetbread flavor was barely perceptible, and the sauce was questionable (perhaps not homemade?). After an hour's wait, we received a dry, very dry, veal dish with chanterelle mushrooms and a goose stew where less than 50g of meat and skin were vying for attention in a flavorful sauce. After a decent dessert came the bill: 92 euros for two, including a glass of wine and a kir. At that price, one expects either a culinary experience, impeccable quality ingredients, and generous portions, not to leave hungry. Our attempts to start a dialogue were met with "oh well, that's fine" and other quick dismissals. In short, we were disappointed, especially given the image we had in mind.

07/09/2026: The owner was unpleasant and very cold. We really felt like we were bothering him. The homemade lemonade wasn't really lemonade at all; it was probably Pulco, and maybe even just syrup! And all for €3.50 a glass: a tourist trap. It's the only bar-restaurant, so they're taking advantage of it... What a shame.

17/05/2026: Upon our arrival on the evening of May 16, 2026, we received a very warm welcome. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The cleanliness was impeccable, with a warm and beautiful decor. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices and a generous portion. All the staff were pleasant and smiling. We quickly realized, along with our three children, that we were staying in a very good hotel. Thank you! 🙂

03/05/2026: The hotel is very good. The rooms are really nice. The food is excellent, no complaints whatsoever. The breakfasts are very comprehensive. I highly recommend it.

10/04/2026: The welcome wasn't exceptional, and the wait for the meal was very long. The foreign waiters didn't understand French, and the meal itself wasn't worth the price. The starter was really not great, the main course was okay, and the dessert was clearly mass-produced. Starter: Sardine fillet The fillet was good, but the mussels with their own juices, the shrimp swimming in it, and the lumpfish roe were a no-go. The combination didn't work. My companion's starter: Foie gras served with lukewarm white beans and sausages. The combination didn't work at all. Furthermore, the foie gras cooked in Sauternes was a bit warm, so it wasn't what we expected. Main Course Smoked cooked salmon was good, but there wasn't much salmon and not enough vegetables to accompany it. It wasn't great. For one of my companions: Lamb shank served cold and lacking vegetables. For another, sweetbreads were good. For yet another, a very good trout meunière. The bottle of wine with the meal was good quality. The dessert Mine was a chocolate fondant. Where's the chocolate? It had no flavor, it was pasty, which is a shame. The clementine and citrus mousse tart was just vanilla whipped cream with a very hard crust. The mango soufflé had an ice cube in the middle... A big thumbs up for the Grand Marnier orange crepe, which was excellent. A dirty fork exchange with the cheese course... In short, a mixed bag of a meal. For the most expensive menu... you expect better. What a shame, the setting is nice.

22/09/2026: Pretty good overall. The prices are reasonable, however, the sauce surcharge isn't clearly indicated on the menu. A choice of sauce doesn't necessarily mean no extra charge, but for this restaurant, it seems to be the opposite (I also don't think it's right to charge for mayonnaise or ketchup...). The wait to be served was a bit long, despite the terrace being only moderately full.

06/07/2026: A wonderful discovery for a week spent in a small chalet during the heatwave. The place is peaceful, very well laid out, and in a natural setting. The staff are very welcoming and kind. There are some lovely walks to be had in the surrounding area.
