18/05/2026: Wow, that's fantastic! It's absolutely perfect. Don't be put off by the slightly tired facade and the less-than-warm welcome. The menu is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. We went twice in two days. The teenagers discovered (and loved) the milk-fed veal.

03/07/2026: I just spent two nights at Au Bon Accueil. The rooms are clean but very vintage. Comfortable bedding. Welcoming restaurant with a varied and affordable menu. A very friendly, warm, and helpful manager. Authentic, just the way I like it. I highly recommend it.

05/05/2026: Well, what can I say about this hotel? The furnishings in the rooms and bathrooms date back to at least the 1950s. It's not a vintage hotel, but a worn-out, run-down one. Everything is dated and barely holding together. My only regret is not having been able to eat at the restaurant, which is renowned for its cuisine. It's a shame for this establishment, which could be so much more pleasant if it were renovated. At €60 a night without breakfast, it's a bit much. Get to work, gentlemen!

10/08/2026: We had dinner at this beautiful restaurant in the village of Servieres-le-Château. We had a wonderful time! Very attentive service, a welcoming atmosphere, and amazing traditional dishes! Unforgettable desserts! The recommended wines are excellent, all local.

06/08/2026: We stopped at the restaurant for lunch. An excellent place that I highly recommend: quality traditional dishes and attentive service. We were seated on the shaded terrace; the dining room is also very pleasant.

03/05/2026: The hotel is very good. The rooms are really nice. The food is excellent, no complaints whatsoever. The breakfasts are very comprehensive. I highly recommend it.

10/04/2026: The welcome wasn't exceptional, and the wait for the meal was very long. The foreign waiters didn't understand French, and the meal itself wasn't worth the price. The starter was really not great, the main course was okay, and the dessert was clearly mass-produced. Starter: Sardine fillet The fillet was good, but the mussels with their own juices, the shrimp swimming in it, and the lumpfish roe were a no-go. The combination didn't work. My companion's starter: Foie gras served with lukewarm white beans and sausages. The combination didn't work at all. Furthermore, the foie gras cooked in Sauternes was a bit warm, so it wasn't what we expected. Main Course Smoked cooked salmon was good, but there wasn't much salmon and not enough vegetables to accompany it. It wasn't great. For one of my companions: Lamb shank served cold and lacking vegetables. For another, sweetbreads were good. For yet another, a very good trout meunière. The bottle of wine with the meal was good quality. The dessert Mine was a chocolate fondant. Where's the chocolate? It had no flavor, it was pasty, which is a shame. The clementine and citrus mousse tart was just vanilla whipped cream with a very hard crust. The mango soufflé had an ice cube in the middle... A big thumbs up for the Grand Marnier orange crepe, which was excellent. A dirty fork exchange with the cheese course... In short, a mixed bag of a meal. For the most expensive menu... you expect better. What a shame, the setting is nice.

19/07/2026: Nice place, I'd even say pleasant, it's a shame the staff aren't more friendly. As for the food... not great, I expected much better for the price, as there are no daily specials... only à la carte options, and it's not cheap for what it is... plus the music is too loud while you're eating...

06/06/2026: I came to eat a tray of fries because I was a little hungry, and it was very filling. The portions are really generous. Plus, the person who works there is very welcoming, kind, and pleasant; it was a pleasure, and I'll definitely be back!

19/05/2026: We came for dinner this Sunday evening, one of the only places to eat that day. The welcome was adequate upon arrival, but the service was very average for a high price considering the quality… €16.50 for one (and only one) overcooked duck skewer (we ordered it rare), frozen fries, and three wilted, unseasoned lettuce leaves. We're still waiting for the bread… and the glasses of tomato juice were left with us until the end of the meal. The cashier asked us if everything was alright "just on principle," because when we mentioned it could have been better, she told us we should have asked for the dishes to be sent back to the kitchen. She made a very quick getaway once we were finished. Absolutely no gesture of goodwill. Just passing customers and no competition that evening… why bother being customer-friendly?

19/07/2026: Excellent value for money; I'm very surprised by some of the reviews. Let's not forget that this is a 2-star hotel. This is the second year we've stopped here on our way to our holiday destination. The breakfast is plentiful. The family double room is spacious enough for a family of four.

31/05/2026: The room was nice and the welcome was pleasant, the real highlight was the breakfast, made entirely of excellent local products, a big thank you for that!

11/08/2026: All our drinks (40 minutes) were long, and the restaurant wasn't even full. The food was poor, expensive for what it was, and they made mistakes with the desserts. In short, I wouldn't recommend it for large families.

11/08/2026: The "new" owners of 2026 have breathed new life into the Sechemailles restaurant. Their kindness, delicious food, and smiles have transformed this charming spot in the Haute-Corrèze region near Meymac! Big shout out to Simon! 🙏

26/06/2026: I hadn't been back for over a year, very disappointed by my last lunch there, but today, since I was arriving to do my shopping at noon, I decided to try the set menu. And I'm so glad I did. It was excellent and a generous portion. A seafood casserole served with broccoli, carrots, and rice, followed by a delicious dessert (fruit salad, chocolate cream, yogurt cake) for €15.90 (€17.90 if you also order the starter, which was a melon medley). So, I'm going to happily resume my lunches/shopping trips here. My second visit was this Wednesday with a friend, and unfortunately, most of our potatoes were raw, and a few others were so burnt they were inedible. We reported it, but the second batch wasn't much better. What a disappointment! But the service is still very pleasant, with a young woman who is attentive and smiling.
