13/02/2026: One of my favorite spots to eat buckwheat savory pancakes. Organic local flour as well as local ingredients arz combined into original meals. I had a roasted endives and smoked trout crepe in a béchamel sauce!

16/12/2025: It's a lovely, charming place that recently became a tea room where you feel right at home... comfortable sofas, plush armchairs that create the feeling of cozy nooks and crannies, a fireplace with a crackling fire, and excellent scones and pastries. All positive points for a pleasant time.

During our stay in the Dordogne, we discovered this place with its takeaway food, from chicken to moussaka and rougail – we thoroughly enjoyed it!
And the prices are reasonable.

25/03/2026: Neither good nor bad. This hotel must have seen better days. The bedding was very comfortable. Our room faced the road, and we didn't hear a thing.
The bathroom in our room is outdated and needs renovating.
As for the reception, I wouldn't call it warm, but rather distant, and a smile was hard to come by.
We didn't have breakfast there.
01/01/2026: Very good, but not enough staff to serve everyone they had at lunchtime on December 25th. Best of luck to them.
However, it was very good.

09/02/2026: I love going there. The ground floor has pretty teacups and teapots in an adorable English style, and lots of other things. Upstairs, they offer two simple, homemade dishes that are quite satisfying (well, they're not for big eaters, but for me, they're very good). There's also an incredible selection of delicious desserts, and the atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming.

04/12/2024: Great, but it's been a change for at least a year now, the new name is L'Anthonoir, very good team, welcoming, good atmosphere, I recommend it without hesitation, especially for the wines and the good advice...
03/12/2024: Please note that it is no longer L'Art et l'Envie since May 2023 but L'Anthonoir taken over by an excellent sommelier, Anthony.

Not a lot open on a Sunday lunchtime but luckily the historical quater came up trumps and we found this place.

15/02/2024: Go your way! the hygiene is more than limited, the dish is repulsive, the dog with its muzzle on the thigh during the meal, the boss who drinks his beer from the bottle! That said, they are nice but we are here to eat! Oh and they don’t take credit cards!

23/09/2024: quelle belle découverte ! c'est tout à fait par hasard que nous avons poussé la porte du restaurant, très belle expérience culinaire et humaine, excellente cuisine, très bons vins; nous sommes retournés une seconde fois pour déguster le cassoulet maison... excellent. Les échanges avec le cuisinier et le personnel ont été également de bons moments. ALLEZ Y !!! Le cuisinier est un passionné de rugby !

21/09/2024: Agréable surprise dans ce restaurant choisi au hasard...excellent menu, simple, très belle présentation et très bon. Super service, pro et souriant. Très bon rapport qualité prix, nous sommes pourtant sur du semi gastro... J'ai lu un commentaire précédant et confirme que c'est un ramassis d'inepties, ayant mangé la même chose... Encore un qui mérite d'aller manger qqles mois du sorgo en Afrique...
