21/04/2024: Lunch for 2 on a Sunday noon. We opted for a winegrower's menu with a food and wine pairing. A very nice discovery of this place in the heart of old Périgueux. It is a real pleasure to be able to taste traditional dishes revisited with modernity but keeping the spirit of the initial dishes. I highly recommend the winemaker's menu. Each dish is beautifully accompanied, with many taste surprises throughout the meal. The dishes are generous and the restaurant team is extremely attentive and pleasant with the guests. I recommend this address without hesitation

24/03/2024: We're not going to beat around the bush, it's an excellent address 👍. This is not the first time, living in Périgueux, that we have visited this establishment and, each time, it is a delight for the taste buds. The service is impeccable, no false note, the dishes are crafted, you can feel the freshness of the ingredients and the intelligence of the chef in orchestrating the flavors. The prices are varied and it is possible to treat yourself for reasonable prices (it's a gastro all the same, don't forget that 🙂!). An epicurean and pleasant moment that we will undoubtedly repeat. Thanks to the whole team 👍

17/03/2024: Disappointing, place with rather dated decoration and dishes to match We still ate well but for the price, it was not up to par (duck with little taste, very fatty potato pancakes, lack of seasoning and the bread was not very good) We heard the boss speaking to the employees with little friendliness... The waiter was lovely but the service was very long (we stayed in the restaurant for 3 hours)

Even for me who is gluten and lactose intolerant we found choices and could eat everything - from starter to dessert. So, I admit that it’s not so easy in restaurants that don’t have an organic/gluten-free certificate, etc. Coming back ✨

25/02/2024: A very nice discovery. A slightly high price justified by real work in the kitchen crowned with a well-deserved star. A treat for the taste buds. Impeccable, friendly and discreet service. Prior reservation recommended, the two rooms can only accommodate a few guests which adds a touch of intimacy to this place. Ideally located at the foot of St Front Cathedral in a pedestrian street. There are numerous parking lots nearby. The only downside, the tables without tablecloths on Valentine's Day, which will not prevent us from coming back and recommending this beautiful address.

10/01/2024: It's been a long time since I took advantage of a Périgourdine getaway to treat myself to a gourmet moment in this restaurant, which I already enjoyed a lot during my first visits. Once again the chef was able to honor the name "Cuisine & Passion" by offering me both. Fine cuisine, with gourmet proportions and research work that is rare today. It’s a true culinary journey that benefits the palate, the eyes but also the heart. As for the dining room, we are also spoiled by the kindness of Sandrine, and her excellent advice, in this case on the whiskeys offered as well as in the presentation of the different dishes. To finish, I will simply say that Cuisine & Passion is one of the best addresses in Périgueux. PS: I also find it scandalous, all the more so coming from a town hall, to sabotage the efforts of these business(es) by a total disconnection from reality, for example given the terrace of the restaurant which allowed us to eat outside which was destroyed to build a park for children...
