Located by the river, the decoration is original and warm. The welcome, the service and the dishes are wonderful.
Unique starter, main course and dessert. And that's probably what makes the atmosphere so good in this restaurant: boring people don't come there :)
For others it is a place and a cuisine to discover.

I particularly recommend the Calzone pizza with a pitcher of Côte du Rhône.... A treat!

29/09/2024: The steak 🥩 from the children's menu is the same ground steak as in the kids burger so time to have a burger or rather nothing at all since I thought that was the only disappointment with the fact that the games swallow the pieces and does not work but ultimately little surprise of the weekend the steaks made the children sick my son told me that it was juicy and therefore poorly cooked even though on the menu it is stipulated cooked through (normal when using frozen steaks, the meat must be cooked to perfection to avoid this type of mishap)

28/09/2024: Confusion of the senses... The only confusion I had was that of my taste buds which were only treated to dough and a plaster of barely cooked potatoes.
Caradoc crepe: with, without lying, 10 pieces of bacon and a tiny piece of morbier at both ends of the crepe to create an “illusion” I suppose 🤷🏻♀️ The little dome of caramelized onions saved the taste of this crepe a little BAD because not even a little seasoned.
Crêpe yseult: same observation with the almost non-existent salmon, potatoes in too large a quantity and not cooked enough, once again, and still as bland.
The sweet pancakes saved the day a little but not generous enough, too bad.
Prices not exorbitant but still too expensive for the quality.

14/09/2024: Remember to book on their site, even if the restaurant is lost in the middle of the mountains, people are flocking to it and we understand why! The setting, the atmosphere and the meal were perfect!
We had the raclette and had a great time! Very welcoming and friendly staff!

13/09/2024: It is clearly the best bakery in Pontarlier. The pastries are to die for, as are the pastries elsewhere. I like to go from time to time for a coffee and a bite to eat. The staff is very friendly and the prices are affordable. And easy to park

04/08/2024: This shows that the positive reviews of certain brands are clearly lies....
What I say: shameful! Never again!
The staff is nice.
But very disappointed because for a romantic dinner, throughout the meal it smelled of smoldering cigarettes. Shameful because at the moment it is prohibited and very unpleasant especially when eating.
Someone was smoking in the kitchen or near the bar, otherwise it couldn't be (it didn't smell like tobacco from the day before, but rather smoldering cigarettes)
As for the meal: ordered Chinese fondue, still frozen meat arrived at the table and frankly not the first choice.
Ice cream for dessert, ice cream not of the first choice either and with ice crystals.... tasteless
Meal not worth the price paid
In short, disappointed because I had a much better memory of it about 10 years ago.
13/07/2024: We had reserved a table and in the end no table for us... we were still able to eat... but a real sketch the hot goat's cheese salad with 3 salad leaves the salmon or beef carpa were hot!!! Cooking meat on pierrade is not even required…
Concerning the atmosphere after that remains karaoke evening but don't even wait until the table is finished so it's impossible to discuss!!! Finally I didn't know I saw it and will certainly not return there and above all it is very expensive for what is served… On the other hand wait more than 30 minutes for 5 ice creams because they prefer to watch the football match than to serve you!!!! Madam Sir change profession and take a job that will allow you to watch those you want instead of making customers suffer!!!!
Souhate is the only establishment offering karaoke evenings but you should not overdo it..!!!
Especially since a group of women came but this sound made them turn away because she wasn't eating she wanted to have a drink... to avoid completely!!!!!

31/07/2024: Very beautiful golf course, especially if you like the local forest and its fir trees.
Athletic too, you have to go down and climb.
The managers are very nice.
