16/02/2024: We spent a relaxing tomorrow alternating skiing in the morning in Foncine and hiking in the magnificent Jura landscapes. The accommodation is comfortable, the welcome is as friendly as ever and the restaurant's cuisine keeps its promises. All for an infinitely more reasonable budget than in many other “ski” vacation spots.

From starter to dessert it was a success. the chef is a chef and given the low price (€51 for 2 with bubble water and coffee, it's no surprise that gourmets have spotted the address. Quality at this price, it's quite simple, it's almost a militant act ✊️, 《le gastro au prole》 In any case, it's a great lesson for all the pretentious people who set the menu price at the level of their melon, convinced of their know-how... and there are some. We opted for the lunch menu at 16.50 euros (starter, main course, dessert AND coffee!) excellent starter buffet, complete and all homemade (cold meats, mixed salads, terrine...) top!, main course, self-service Morteau sausage in a wonderful cream sauce and a pan of small vegetables, good home cooking, homemade desserts too, creams, cottage cheese, great blueberry tart! I also highlight a bread served with divine seeds. In short, a great meal from every point of view! If you pass by without booking, come at noon sharp, almost all of them are reserved by regulars!!!
