06/08/2026: Appalling service. We arrived with a sleeping two-month-old baby and a very quiet four-year-old. The waitress initially told us there was space inside. She then consulted her boss, and as if by magic, there was suddenly no space. Then, a few seconds later, there was finally some available… but with a “long wait.” The explanations kept changing and didn't exactly inspire confidence. We clearly felt that the problem wasn't the lack of space, but the fact that we were with children. As we were leaving, I simply said, “You're really not kid-friendly.” The only response was an awkward, pinched smile, without a word to contradict me. Enough said.

30/07/2026: Excellent place. Friendly staff. The daily special (13€) was superb, the crayfish ravioli was fantastic. No complaints whatsoever.

03/08/2026: Always satisfied, a top-notch restaurant with impeccable service from Laurent, not forgetting the owner who is very kind and professional. We will be back again.

01/07/2026: We came for a drink, and on the advice of one of the waitresses, we ordered a platter which we highly recommend! The two waitresses were pleasant and smiling, while the waiter was cold, which was almost unpleasant – the only downside to this little getaway.

24/06/2026: The little place has lost its identity; no more conviviality, no more friendly and approachable servers, just the feeling of being a nuisance. So I'm changing venues to rediscover the pleasure of having a drink with friends.

11/02/2026: Passing through Montélimar on numerous occasions, I never fail to stop at the "Brasserie des Négociants." The management and staff are particularly welcoming, professional, and kind. While the establishment maintains rigorous hygiene standards, I was taken aback by a comment I read... perhaps the author should verify the accuracy of their statements and check their sources more thoroughly. Without hesitation, I give this establishment 5/5, both for its warm welcome, the professionalism of the management and staff, and the absolutely impeccable hygiene.

28/07/2026: You should definitely avoid this restaurant. We waited 30 minutes at a dirty table, then a young man came, cleaned everything, and took our order. Then he kept coming back, saying they didn't have this or that. Forty-five minutes had passed. Then an extremely unfriendly older woman came and irritably informed us that they had practically nothing left. We should decide immediately from the few remaining options, and quickly. Anything else would be pointless. It was simply a matter of getting rid of us. They could have told us that right away. This place isn't worth visiting, just like the rather sleepy town of Montèlimar. She then snapped at us that we were too late. Okay, they could have said that too. Unfortunately, we didn't get to "experience" the supposed love of the restaurant staff/owners. Unfriendly and no hospitality whatsoever. Response to your reply: We were there before 3 p.m., and you made us wait 45 minutes!!!! Just say they didn't feel like serving us.

27/07/2026: The previous guests' food was only cleared away after 30 minutes, and after that, we were only asked what we wanted after another 10 minutes. We still hadn't received any coffee or iced tea (easy to make) after 30 minutes, so we just left. Poor communication.
