Finally, a perfectly seasoned steak tartare—no need for Tabasco!
The Périgord salad with duck gizzards is delicious.
As for the chocolate mousse with Espelette pepper made by Madame, it's on par with Monsieur's cooking—delicately flavorful!

The ONLY thing we regret: not coming back sooner...
An intimate setting, extremely professional, friendly, and experienced service, presentation and cuisine that become a truly divine culinary experience.
We came on Saturday at lunchtime, we ate in the shop area, and we absolutely loved it. Nothing to complain about... This restaurant is truly a benchmark, even THE restaurant to visit if you're in Montélimar.
Thank you a thousand times for everything, it was a real pleasure, see you VERY soon ☺️

21/05/2026: Our family, Ouf! Accustomed to frequenting cafes for lunch, we stumbled upon this enchanting spot, hidden away from all the usual, well-trodden paths, and bam! The best find in 30 days of wandering! A creative, exquisitely thoughtful, and incredibly delicious menu—come on, come on! Take a few extra steps and taste it, and you'll be delighted with your trip! In short: wow!

01/12/2025: A superb experience, both in terms of the food, which was flawless from start to finish, and especially the exceptional homemade foie gras. The service was also excellent, delivered with a smile and a friendly touch!
We were so glad we were able to come before closing time for a well-deserved rest!

We were the first customers!
The welcome was warm.
The bistro-style food was excellent.
The price might be a little high, but that's the current economic climate.
This can be justified by the quality of the ingredients used.
Known for its mushroom-based dishes in the fall, it's open year-round.
Slightly off the beaten path from other restaurants in the area, it's a place worth discovering!

29/05/2026: The restaurant is beautifully situated on the avenue. You're seated quickly, but if you haven't ordered within 30 seconds, you won't be served. We then waited a quarter of an hour (the restaurant wasn't very full) to place our order. We called the waiter again, he said he'd be right there, and then made us wait another 10 minutes. We left. Two restaurants down the road, we got some ice cream and thoroughly enjoyed it.
28/05/2026: Anna gave us an excellent welcome. The meal was very good, the mussels and steak tartare were superb, and the white and red wines were just what we like... thank you!

Too bad, we'd been before and it was very good.
03/01/2026: We received a warm welcome and a good breakfast, but I think they don't like tourists from the south of France who say "chocolatine" instead of "pain au chocolat," because we didn't get a chocolate tasting while other customers did. A bit disappointed with this establishment, especially considering it's a chocolate shop.

11/02/2026: Passing through Montélimar on numerous occasions, I never fail to stop at the "Brasserie des Négociants." The management and staff are particularly welcoming, professional, and kind. While the establishment maintains rigorous hygiene standards, I was taken aback by a comment I read... perhaps the author should verify the accuracy of their statements and check their sources more thoroughly.
Without hesitation, I give this establishment 5/5, both for its warm welcome, the professionalism of the management and staff, and the absolutely impeccable hygiene.

The staff is super friendly and always smiling. The food...excellent, very generous and high-quality portions. It feels like eating in a traditional Lyonnais bistro! Special mention for the gratin dauphinois and a small carafe of red wine to wash it all down. I highly recommend it. Remember to book on market days... We'll be back! 😅
10/05/2026: Lovely atmosphere and staff. We visited mid afternoon and while we weren't able to sample their full menu, the croque monsieur sandwiches we were offered were delicious. We felt very welcome and taken care of. Thank you!

Nice bar/restaurant next to a small market on Saturday mornings.
Butcher's cut €23 (ribeye steak): very well cooked rare, fresh salad, it's a shame the fries weren't homemade....
Classic hamburger €19: very dry bun, filling of two industrial slices of processed cheese, steak very good but where were the tomatoes, salad, onions...? Fries also very dry.
Impeccable service, especially from the brunette lady who is everywhere and keeps the service moving....
