03/03/2024: Not as usual... The foie gras was not tasty, for dessert, the meringues were dry and in addition I was charged for a bottle of water even though we had taken a carafe of water....... Too bad!

We loved the setting, the charming and smiling owner and we had a great time. The quality/price ratio is incredible. Only one regret...not having gone there before. 02/04/2024: 2024. I raised my review to two stars, which is quite unusual. The staff has changed which is a good thing. The chalet-style atmosphere is striking. The cards on a black background on the other hand are not great. In terms of dishes: the poutine is really not bad. ————————————————- 2020 As a Villebonnais resident, La Cabane is an institution: enchanting decor, typical Savoyard dishes, a beautiful building built next to the Yvette. That said, I find that management is resting on its laurels. The service has become mediocre: the waitresses are not smiling, the dishes are served out of time, the menu does not seem to have changed in years. Besides, the wooden cards go to pieces. A customer asked for a glass of champagne: no champagne! This is not serious ! Honestly, I thought I was celebrating important events at the Cabin. I gave up.

01/04/2024: Hello, I would like to share my opinion because at the time this was not systematic so as I wanted mussels and fries I looked at the opinions on this restaurant, since the name has changed! I realize that the service and the incompetence of the staff is always the same. We entered the restaurant and we remained waiting for well over a quarter of an hour in front of the cash register which is right in front of the door before a waitress put us at a table, at the time my first daughter was in a stroller and it seemed to annoy the waitress because she didn't know where to put the stroller for us because the tables were quite close, the meal was served very slowly and we stayed for more than an hour and a half waiting for the goodwill of the waiters because in the meantime our waitress left at the end of her shift and no one else was there. came to replace it we had to ask for the service to continue at our table and finally the fries that we asked for again arrived (which arrived cold) After the meal I was brought back the bill even though I had not asked for anything and then I asked for a dessert to teach them good manners, after bringing me the dessert they also brought me the bill again and there I asked for a coffee once again to teach them good manners because the bill is only brought back to the customer when the customer requests it! So after all these disappointments we left, we paid and not even a word of apology or goodbye at all!! I was furious, I yelled at the staff who were present, telling them that I would never set foot in this restaurant again.

02/04/2024: We went to dinner during the week. The exterior is quite classic, however the interior is very nice, the decoration sober and warm. We were very well received with a smile from start to finish! The dishes are very good, quality and very good quantity! We had an ultra-complete menu including an aperitif, starter, main course, cheese, dessert, all accompanied by a bottle of white wine! Nothing to say, we will come back with pleasure.
