04/05/2024: Came for dinner and the staff was remarkably nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was fun and lively but not over the top. The food was way more than what you’d expect to get and the wine list is respectable as well. We got 2 glasses of champagne, a starter, 2 steaks that come with 2 sides each, bottle of wine and shared a dessert and they give you bread/pork spread- all for under $200. Unreal. Restaurant was very clean and bathrooms were very clean as well. No complaints and left very happy with the experience and what we got for our $.

02/04/2024: A duck confit that is confit in name only, more like a stale duck leg, so hard that it is uncutable. The waiter maintains that it's a matter of taste... Salad too salty, vegetables served cold, sent back and reserved the same. I ended up asking for fried eggs: so poorly cooked that it seemed like a joke! But who cooks? We understand why this huge restaurant is almost empty even though it was one of the few open on the quays.
The manager kindly canceled my dish and I wished her good luck with such a dish…
02/04/2024: The Makila Café is a beautiful family story, it's Basque sunshine on the plates, it's real homemade with delicious fries. It's a beautiful terrace in front of the Garonne and a top team who goes out of their way to welcome you for lunch, dinner, or an aperitif.

05/05/2024: Ideal to enjoy good crepes!
We ordered a gourmet menu (14'90/person) that included a savory crepe and a dessert.
For salty ones we ordered Lili and Loulou. Both very tasty but we liked the Lili better, the egg gives it an incredible touch.
For dessert we chose Mélodie and Bryan, the former highly recommended.
To drink, they provide a free jug of water, so it was very economical for how expensive Bordeaux usually is!

02/04/2024: First visit with a friend from Bordeaux. A delight. the tender, tasty meat cooked to perfection and for fans of marrow bones don't hesitate for a moment. Desserts too. Perfectly perfect.
31/03/2024: After two years spent in France living in Paris and wandering around the various French cities, I can say with certainty that La Tupina has become my favorite restaurant, where culinary culture and Bordeaux tradition come together!
Special mention to the smell of grill as soon as you enter!

03/04/2024: The best burger my husband and I have eaten to date. If you're really hungry, order the "Eiffel Tower", it's huge and delicious.
