01/10/2024: We went there to enjoy a seafood platter. The seafood and oysters served to us were very fresh and the platter very well stocked. We were well settled in the warm decor of this restaurant, particularly well located in the beautiful historic district of Bordeaux located between Place de la Bourse and Rue Sainte-Catherine.

28/09/2024: The seafood is of excellent quality, the sea bream and cod accompanied by their varied garnishes are a treat; it's plentiful, the presentation is impeccable and the setting is pleasant! The two young girls serving are welcoming and professional! In short, great time 👏

04/12/2024: Grand merci pour le personnel adorable qui nous accompagne et nous encadre durant cette expérience effectivement hors du commun ! Nous sommes curieux et nous voulions découvrir ce concept, mais ..... Plutôt déçus par le repas qui aurait du être une explosion de saveurs comme vanté sur le site. il y avait un manque d'équilibre entre les 3 plats servis, juste un peu de légèreté dans ce menu avec un peu plus de saveurs et de corps ! L'accord mets et vins nous a laissé sur notre fin... le blanc et le rouge était très bons, mais terminer par ce crémant n'était vraiment pas judicieux. Pour ceux qui le connaissent, il est buvable en cocktail mais vraiment trop gazeux a boire seul. Attendez vous à un service envoyé en 1h30 et plutôt bruyant. Un bémol aussi de taille, lorsque l'on vous demande de garder votre cuillère à soupe pour manger le dessert, celle qui vous a aidé pour le plat principal pour éviter d'en mettre partout avec la fourchette; mais sommes nous à la cantine ou dans un restaurant où vous avez réglé 69 €/pers... ??? 17/11/2024: L expérience humaine vaut le déplacement , exellent accueil avec d exellents guides ....mais quel dommage.. cuisine très décevante sans saveur, froide , trop cuite...ect pour le prix!!!! Le concept pourrait tellement etre amélioré..avec du pain aux odeurs de levain....des plats aux odeurs alléchantes...ect Vins très correct On gardera en souvenir le côté humain

10/09/2024: An iconic family run restaurant positioned right opposite the Monument aux Girondins. A very beautiful spot. We started with yummy snails and oysters for entree’s. The mains were outstanding. We enjoyed the prawn risotto and chargrilled octopus. These were accompanied by glasses of white wine from Burgundy, recommended by Pierre. Dessert was a must do. The Pear and Almond tart and the vanilla crème brûlée were delicious. The service lead by Gaelle was brilliant and the decor and ambience in this restaurant makes any night special. Highly recommended. Thank you.

10/09/2024: Central and elegant traditional Bordeaux brasserie Correct product quality and prices according to the place. The service was a bit slow, understandable since it was full. The excellent crêpe Suzette and the spectacular wine list Advisable

22/09/2024: J aurais mieux fait de regarder TripAdvisor avant de m installer. Si vous cherchez la qualité passez votre chemin De la rosette bien grasse au chorizo médiocre en passant par la petite bruschetta et au pain industriel... Sans oublier les cornichons immondes tout droit issu de la bonne boîte de conserves Lieu toutefois sympa et propice à une petite pose ça été notre erreur.... Je précise que je ne suis pas coutumier des commentaires mais là....!!!!

29/08/2024: Passing through Bordeaux to discover this "Bordeaux Lac" golf course, it is the first time in our lives that a golf bar, after having drunk the coffee (for a fee) the bartender (or manager of the bar) refuses us to refill a water bottle for the course! Well done Mr. Barman, we went after our drinking and eating party in town and this introduced us to a charming and pleasant restaurant "Chez les Ploucs" which we recommend. In fact we thank you for your contemptuous attitude.

14/08/2024: Very good for dining before or after a round of golf with very warm and friendly staff. Also very good for a professional or personal lunch.

12/09/2024: Today I forgot my wallet, it happens. I found a 1 euro coin at the bottom of my bag. I asked the baker if he had a baguette or bread for 1 euro because that was all I had. She gave me the few cents I was missing without question. It happens but it’s remarkable. Thanks again. And what’s more, the bread is delicious!! Good day.

16/09/2024: The lunch option is interesting and the homemade dishes good, but I was a little disappointed by the quiche: tasty but very soft and the dough soggy...

10/09/2024: Great discovery on the beautiful Chartrons market square. A carefully decorated place in which you quickly feel at ease, perfect for a coffee, working or meeting up with friends. The pastries are truly delicious with a varied menu that changes regularly. We feel the quality of homemade. A nice drinks and tea menu is also available. The team is available, professional and warm, I strongly advise.

26/09/2024: Je recommande sans hésiter. J’y retourne à chaque fois que je veux déjeuner en ville, la cuisine est super bonne et le service est vraiment chaleureux. Si vous voulez vous régaler, passer un bon moment en famille ou entre amis avec un personnel souriant, je vous le recommande. Big up à la salade caesar (la sauce est à se damner), le confit de canard et l’entre deux mer 👌

19/09/2024: Slightly mixed experience. The interior is a bit noisy. With the door open, we hear the sounds of the tram and traffic as well as the sounds of the bar near the room: ice crushing, mixing. The dishes were quite good but the dessert was extremely disappointing for the price. We paid 16 euros for a gourmet plate which felt like industrial cakes. It was dry without flavor without creativity. A cookie, a cookie with lemon. It was clearly not worth the price paid. I think that even Picard offers much more delicious desserts where I could have enjoyed them. However, the restaurant has potential. We will try again on occasion but without dessert.

29/09/2024: We ordered croquettes and a couple drinks. The service was great and the food was cooked well. We liked the sauce that was served with the croquettes. Le Riva had a good selection of beers and cocktails, although their selection of ciders was limited. Definitely recommend.

26/09/2024: Very unpleasant welcome from the (young) boss, she annoys everyone and the word is weak, it's a disaster TO FEE! And to think that I was a loyal customer!!! She doesn't like reservations of 8 people! dear consumers like me walk a little further and you have the Makila and the Trattoria (or the maritime café) with the same view of the Chaban bridge and much nicer teams

17/09/2024: The waiter was very friendly, the place on the terrace, impeccable....however very disappointed with the menu of the day! Chistorra....2 sausages with 2 potatoes for main course + crumble for dessert for €19.90...heavy price for what's on the plate!
