29/11/2025: The staff were pleasant, but we were very disappointed with the food. The smashburger was good but slightly overcooked, and the "café gourmand" (a selection of desserts served with coffee) was made up of leftovers that were probably from the day before... we won't be eating here again.

Admittedly, the location is good (and certainly explains why it hasn't already closed down), the service is friendly (although very busy, which is to be expected when the restaurant is the size of an aircraft carrier).
I was alone, due to my job and traveling schedule. Too lazy to look around, I settled for the first restaurant near the train station.
That was my mistake.
For a starter? Egg mayonnaise. It's not that complicated, I didn't ask for an ortolan on a bed of caviar. But no, they somehow managed to mess it up: a smear of mayonnaise and a very sad-looking salad.
The main course? Andouillette sausage, my guilty pleasure. I've devoured tons of andouillette here and there. But here, it was a cold, translucent casing with practically raw meat. I was on the verge of throwing up.
Honestly, are you hungry? Are you exhausted? Whatever the reason, never eat at this rip-off place, which, by the way, cost me 30 bucks. At that price, it's literally a business that's taking the piss.
22/04/2026: It's a tourist trap; they're not even remotely nice. They force you to pay before you even eat or drink, and especially the waitress—avoid asking her for anything because my phone battery died. I really needed it for my train ticket and hotel address, but she pretended to charge it, so I was left for an hour without a charge because I didn't give her a very low tip. Avoid it!

13/05/2026: Chipped teapot, cups with traces of caffeine, extremely uncomfortable outdoor chairs and an outdated menu.
28/04/2026: A lovely tea room, perfect for relaxing.
Very good cakes and tea!
However, I recommend updating the menu, as the tea I wanted was no longer available, and offering more relaxed service. (The waiter was very friendly and helpful.)

24/04/2026: Coffee, beer, wine, food. It's always a good time spent at Café de l'Utopia. But sometimes the wait to order or be served can be very long… it's a matter of luck.

20/04/2026: The place is filthy, the thigh is in a deplorable state, and on top of that, they make racist and discriminatory remarks when you point them out, and they dare to call themselves the Route du Rhum! Avoid at all costs!!!
26/12/2025: I booked a room at this establishment for Christmas Eve to avoid driving. Room #2, on the first floor, cost €50.
What a nightmare. I only spent 30 minutes there before having to leave and take a taxi home (at nighttime rates). The mattress and sheets were infested with bedbugs, they were moving everywhere, and I have bites all over my body, as confirmed by a medical report. The room was in a deplorable, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable state.
I immediately contacted the establishment to report this situation. The only response I received was: "Thank you for letting us know." When I asked for a refund for the night I obviously didn't spend there, they replied: "It's too late, you've already paid."
A total lack of professionalism and respect for the customer.
This establishment should be avoided at all costs. For €50, it's likely to cost them much more than expected.

21/04/2026: I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat it. However, the cocktails are good, and the Moscow Mules are well-made. The atmosphere on the terrace is pleasant, and the service is quite efficient.
19/04/2026: So, I paid €4.50 for apricot juice in a glass bottle that arrived already opened, plus it had no label. It's outrageous to do that, and even worse, it was poorly done because there were still bits of glue from the old label. A real rip-off…

26/04/2026: It's a shame that the two terraces for the bar weren't open on a Sunday afternoon, especially since there were people waiting and no one was having lunch anymore.
Otherwise, the location and setting are excellent.
24/04/2026: Extremely slow service and not very attentive (at least if you sit outside). It’s nice to sit and drink something in the park but that’s about it.
