30/08/2026: Absolutely perfect! The location, the welcome, the food, the atmosphere!!

29/08/2026: We've been coming here for several years and love this place, its food, its atmosphere, the decor! But this time, the service was incredibly slow! An hour and a half before we received our food...very disappointed!

13/09/2026: A lunch break in the square, a good draft beer, the dish of the day, delicious and plentiful, all for around 20 euros. The nice weather was on our side.

18/07/2026: Excellent place, good service, good food, good terrace, the Burdeos foot bath, with its good and not-so-good points, is worth it.

11/07/2026: Excellent service, the waiter was very friendly and attentive. We ordered four breakfasts of coffee with milk and chocolate bread, which were delicious and very reasonably priced. We highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

16/06/2026: Another bar that doesn't care about its customers! I won't be going back... not with a waitress like that. I thought I'd unwind, but it made me angry.

15/09/2026: The waitresses were very unfriendly. The fries were soggy and undercooked. I would avoid this place.

30/08/2026: We came yesterday around 5 pm with a friend, just for a drink. What a disappointment… The waitress was unpleasant from beginning to end. No polite greetings, no smile, and above all, a particularly condescending way of speaking to us, as if we were bothering her. We simply asked for a glass of white wine, and her response, in an irritated tone, was: “What else?”… Rather than explaining the different white wines on offer, she seemed to think we were boring her. We were perfectly polite and simply came to have a good time. You go to a bar to have a drink and enjoy a pleasant moment, not to feel unwelcome or like you're inconveniencing anyone. A minimum of respect and courtesy towards customers seems to me to be the bare minimum. A very bad experience, which makes us absolutely not want to return.

20/08/2026: Initially, I was very happy with my experience. I often walked past this place, thinking it looked really nice, so I went in. My girlfriend and I were very satisfied because everything was really good. But when it came time to pay, they quickly told me the price while handing me the card reader. The amount shocked me quite a bit, but I thought maybe I'd misread the prices on the menu, so I paid. After checking, I realized I must have overpaid by at least €25. The bill was €53, not including the tip I left, for two cocktails and a plate of croquettes. In short, I'm very disappointed by how it ended, especially since I'm just a student and I can't really afford to pay that much for nothing.

28/08/2026: I highly recommend Thibault and Yanis, very welcoming, very helpful with superb advice, very attentive to their customers. It's truly a pleasure to eat in this restaurant, everything was really top-notch, I highly recommend it.

26/08/2026: An amazing and completely unique experience! This restaurant is a true cheese lover's paradise. The restaurant's main attraction is its unique cellar with a huge selection of different varieties. For €36 per person, you can enjoy unlimited access, a great opportunity to sample an incredible variety of flavors and make true culinary discoveries. A special thank you to the owner: he was incredibly sweet and friendly, offering excellent pairing suggestions and recommending the perfect wine to pair with the cheeses. This place is a must-see, and the cheese cellar itself is an absolute must-see! I recommend booking a table in advance.

02/09/2026: I come here regularly for the bread, which is always very good, but several times now (including this morning) I've been sold day-old chocolate croissants, and you can tell immediately! Bakeries that sell day-old pastries make it clear. It's unacceptable. We also had cakes last weekend that weren't fresh and ended up in the bin. So it's a gamble: sometimes it's made and it's good, and sometimes it's not! It's a real shame to treat your customers like fools.

20/08/2026: I don't really understand the overall rating. Perhaps the staff was reduced during the summer period, but in any case, we were quite disappointed. It was really very expensive for what it was, and above all, the dishes were sorely lacking in flavor. To put it mildly, they were simply not good. Considering the rating and the prices, we clearly expected much better.

18/08/2026: I had a beef salad and it was excellent, the meat was very, very good and the other vegetables and fruits were very fresh, go for it!!!!

06/07/2026: Avoid this hotel, esp if you need good internet access and mobility. There are other ibis hotels in Bordeaux or other hotels that offer better value and better management than this. They have terrible (often no) internet connection.For days! Many other guests complaint about. but the management did not put any efforts to redress this. They put the burden to facing the complaints from the guests to the staffs, and the staffs just say sorry and shrug their shoulder. There is no redress mechanism from the management. They have 2 elevators but they only activate one, which means it takes long time to get up/down floors. I'm not sure what they trying to get. Saving money and making guests frustrated? Internet and elevator are two important service for guests. They should put these two in their website: if I knew this, I won't stay in this hotel. And I'm sure no other guess that i've met during my stay and complained with the same issue would too!

21/08/2026: We stopped here for lunch and had the savoury buckwheat galettes. They were perfectly decent and made for a pleasant, uncomplicated meal, although unfortunately several of the options we originally wanted to order were unavailable. The main downside was the service, which was very slow during our visit. We weren’t in a particular rush, so it didn’t spoil lunch, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you have limited time. The location is convenient for a break while exploring central Bordeaux, and the menu has a good variety of galettes and other simple lunch options. Overall, an okay-to-good lunch: nothing particularly memorable, but we were happy enough with what we had.

17/08/2026: A very warm welcome from the charming twin sisters, the first one, for a morning coffee during a walk with my two dogs. It made me want to come back for lunch that same day with the same pleasure, where I got two smiles for the price of one since this lovely sisterhood was reunited 🤗 Amazing value for money for Place Pey Berland 🤤 🤩 😋 A small but significant bonus for me: my dogs were kindly accepted both inside and on the terrace 🐶😻🐶. Delicious sweet and savory crepes facing the cathedral, open to all budgets. I'll be back very soon and highly recommend it! Thank you, Marie Annie 🙏

25/08/2026: A true neighborhood bakery! The shop has been renovated, and the bread selection is excellent. The lunchtime sandwiches are generous. The service is warm and friendly.

06/07/2026: I just got back from an exceptional lunch! Warm welcome, impeccable service, charming setting, and friendly atmosphere. Perfect value for money, the wait was short, and the place was spotless!
