15/09/2024: Very slow service, we had to go get a card ourselves and had to go find the waiter.
The bill arrived wrong and we were not entitled to the happy hour price....
15/09/2024: We came for a beer and waited 15 minutes before the waiter took our order (and again, I had to insist).
He then said he was going to bring us some olives. I'm still waiting for them.
I am very disappointed.

22/09/2024: My husband and I went there very often when we were younger, we were happy to come back to this restaurant, but I find that there is no longer the same dynamism and atmosphere as before... however always my cheeseburger with their sauce that I Love is still there! 👌🏽

14/09/2024: Excellent, car on y retrouve un accueil avec sourires qui restent jusqu’au départ et dynamisme pour toute l’équipe. Les plats sont copieux et bons, nous avions un wok aux crevettes, un carpaccio de thon, des rumsteak avec frites tout cela très très bon. Ce restaurant n’est pas gastronomique, mais vaut bien excellent, ce n’est pas si évident de trouver des établissements qui réunissent ces qualités. Dommage de n’être que de passage, sinon j’y retournerai souvent.
02/09/2024: Lovely little bistro. Good food, friendly staff and reasonably priced too. Down a side street near Grand Homes area. Quieter location and less busy than the cafes on the main roads and squares.

30/09/2024: We were served by a redheaded waitress who cleaned the tables backwards. The tables were covered in mites, which can happen. She was offended at having to clean them on the pretext that we had chosen this particular table and that it was under the chestnut trees.
This is part of your responsibilities. We asked you politely, and from the terrace we hear you complaining to your colleagues. Maybe changing careers would be a good idea? Conclusion, unfriendly service, deplorable even!

28/03/2024: No, the photos on the letter have nothing to do with reality. It seems that their kitchen no longer works. Just tapas they told us. It's a shame because it has the charm of the place, but the food is nothing.

22/07/2024: Standing in front of closed doors today (July 22, 2024). Windows are taped shut. Either it is being renovated or the store no longer exists.🙄

The organization within the café is not well-established, the wait is long while the room upstairs is empty…
In addition, the prices of pastries are not displayed even though it is an obligation! Apart from the price which is not displayed, we arrived at 3:30 p.m. and the window was already almost empty!
The pastries are very sweet, almost sickening…
The setting is noisy, the service is average.
Positive note: Viennese chocolate is good.
Conclusion: move on.

03/09/2024: The hotel is well located, the room is comfortable. The staff is available, discreet, efficient. The breakfasts were of high quality, there was no waste. Perfect maintenance and cleaning. This first stay left us with an excellent impression.
31/08/2024: Very welcoming hostess, smiling and very caring upon our arrival.
Our room was large, clean and very pretty. Quality bedding. Not noisy. We can hear the tram running if we really pay attention (not disturbing). No parking but possible to park nearby less than 5 minutes walk (paid space but green zone).
Small negative point about the breakfast (good, correct choice but some small shortages like water, powdered sugar for the cottage cheese for example). Very sticky floor in the breakfast room.

28/09/2024: Beware of this restaurant, service was awful, and the food only just edible. I asked for tap water twice and non arrived. My steak was poor and chewy. To top it off an extra £27 Euro charge was added to our bill with no explanation, when I questioned what it was for the waiter stated he would have to speak to his manager. Said manager then removed the 27 euro with no explanation. My guess is that it was because we were tourists- really ruined our overall experience of Bordeaux

Very good cuisine with enough choice for everyone's enjoyment
All served by very friendly and happy staff who hum along to the very pleasant music.
