17/08/2026: If you want a truly good pain au chocolat, look elsewhere! It's frozen, made with margarine, and I know what I'm talking about. It's a real shame because they used to be the best pain au chocolat in Bordeaux. Now it's a joke... how dare they serve this in a supposedly artisanal bakery? I don't understand its success...

28/08/2026: Fantastic place! The custom-made poké bowls are delicious, made with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. The service is excellent, and the direct access from the A63 motorway is incredibly convenient for a quick and easy meal. A big thank you to the team, keep up the great work!

21/06/2026: I was delighted by the warm welcome and attentive service from the waiters. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the setting is calm and elegant. The price-quality ratio is quite reasonable. The wait time was acceptable and the cleanliness was impeccable.

14/07/2026: I'm really disappointed to see the quality decline since April. The madeleines are nothing like they used to be: they're often hard, sometimes still cold inside, other times completely dry. And for the last two or three weeks, there haven't been any chocolate chips at all. At first, I thought it was a mistake, but after coming back several times, the observation is the same. At €1.10 a madeleine, you'd expect a minimum level of quality. I've also noticed that the croissants are smaller than they used to be. As for the service, it really depends on who's there. The young, dark-haired man is always smiling, welcoming, and in a good mood. On the other hand, the two saleswomen (one blonde and one young brunette) often give the impression that serving customers bothers them. They sometimes chat amongst themselves about their absent colleagues or complain during service, which isn't very professional. It's a shame, because I was a loyal customer, but the decline in product quality, combined with a sometimes unpleasant welcome, makes me seriously hesitate to return.

08/07/2026: I had an unforgettable evening at "Le Bateau Ivre"! The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the staff always smiling. The atmosphere was splendid, the setting charming, and the cleanliness impeccable. The value for money was excellent. The wait was reasonable and didn't detract from the experience at all.

30/08/2026: As a long-time customer, I recommended this establishment to my colleagues and clients right from the start. Today, I'm very disappointed. The online menu doesn't reflect what's actually offered. Plates were taken away untouched, and no one seemed to mind. The owner is extremely unfriendly. A personal message for the owner: Madam, when we come to eat at your establishment, we're not inviting ourselves into your home, we're not coming to bother you, we're coming to have a good time, and we're paying for that. Seeing you sighing, getting stressed, or on your phone during service demonstrates a lack of consideration for your customers.

21/08/2026: The price was 25% too high for my taste, and the welcome was rather aloof. The terrace could use some attention (like cleaning up fallen leaves and wiping down the tables even if they weren't set). The tomato and burrata salad had an unripe tomato and the burrata was just okay... considering the price, it deserved better. I wanted to try it: I saw what I thought, and I don't think I'll be back. It's a shame; sometimes it doesn't take much to improve things.

14/09/2026: There were two of us, and we ordered a mixed platter to share and a glass of wine. We asked to split the platter in half, so €8.50, and the waiter supposedly told us he couldn't charge any more than the full amount. I told him that, being in the restaurant business, I'd never seen anything like it in a restaurant. He changed his tune, saying he had instructions and had to follow them. So now we're no longer free to pay whatever amount we want by credit card? 😂 He even asked me where I'd studied, just to question my professional background! Just say you don't want to accept credit cards below a certain amount; it'll be simpler! It'll save us from unnecessary arguments. We won't be back.

11/09/2026: I ordered a dish (I'd already had it at the same restaurant). This time, the food on my plate wasn't at all what was listed on the menu. The waiters explained that the menu had changed. Too bad, I couldn't even finish half my meal... At €24 a plate, it seems more than reasonable to inform the customer. Not even a small gesture, nothing. As long as you pay, they don't care if you actually ate well.
