A warm welcome, a friendly round table, a pleasant atmosphere, and service that was both professional and fun (jokes and homemade after-dinner drinks included!).
The dishes were beautifully presented and frankly delicious.
A restaurant that's definitely worth a detour… even if you're planning one 😉

18/04/2026: I was impressed by the quality of this place. The sandwiches (bread and filling) and desserts are delicious, at prices comparable to a regular bakery. And the service is super friendly!

07/04/2026: We stay all over the world and beg to differ, to stay here is not a 5 star experience.
Perhaps we spoke the wrong language, or didn’t portray the right image? The welcome was luke warm, we had to dispute additional charges on the bill, the room was small and uncomfortable. And the funky, cheap decor of the common rooms were off putting.

Be warned, the place is noisy and not suitable for everyone, especially a local guide who boasts about being level 7 and doesn't know the pass time rules 🤣

26/03/2026: Spring is mushroom season! We enjoyed two meat sauced mushroom dishes. Each meal came with fries and either peas or salad. Meal prices between 25 to 28€.
Typical French style service. Accommodating of non-French speakers. All other tables were French speakers on a Wednesday night.

29/07/2024: Zeer goed traditioneel restaurant met lokale en seizoensgebonden gerechten. Vriendelijke ontvangst! Gezellig en traditioneel lokaal. Heel eerlijke en lekkere keuken. Wijnkaart met lokale wijnen en wijnen van eigen wijnhuis. Zeer correcte prijzen! Heel goed adres!
16/06/2024: Mooi verzorgd restaurant met zeer vriendelijke bediening. Eten, echte klassieke Franse keuken, heerlijk. Mooie presentatie en goede porties.

22/08/2024: We came for our last evening in this region the young waiter was pleasant for a drink but then the waitress (tall blonde woman with glasses) friendly as a prison door looks badly speaks sharply and sends piss off the customers I do not recommend not this restaurant nor for a drink 6:40 p.m. nothing is served even though in 10 minutes the glass can be finished and also not recommended for eating
19/08/2024: So, I'm disappointed! My companion found his tarte flambée OK but nothing more.
As for me, I couldn't finish my Alsatian pasta gratin which was too heavy and I had bouts of food which lasted well into the afternoon. 🙁sorry but I won't come anymore.
And to the rest of you, future customers, do as you wish.
Very expensive for a restaurant that offers bad food.
