The welcome was top-notch, everyone was incredibly attentive 🙌 the setting was lovely 🤩 and the cuisine exceptional 🤤! A must-do for business or leisure. A wonderful discovery, and thank you again to the entire team and a special shout-out to the owners 👍

04/06/2026: We had a wonderful weekend at the end of May celebrating Julie and Cyrill's wedding.
This hotel and restaurant is very peaceful, the food is excellent, and the nights are restful and pleasant. Numerous activities are available on-site (swimming pool, jacuzzi, paddleboarding, hiking, treetop adventure park, etc.).
The hotel has a family history, with four generations having run it since the 1940s, and it's still going strong today.
Thank you to the manager and the entire team.
31/05/2026: We celebrated Mother's Day at the restaurant and I want to congratulate the chef on cooking the fish perfectly 👏 the dessert was amazing, we had a very good meal

31/07/2026: I had an exceptional experience at the 2 L table, with fantastic value for money and service that brought a smile to your face.
I highly recommend it, and as we say back home, "this is bloody good!"

15/07/2026: I'm only talking about the restaurant: We were very disappointed!
There were four of us, and we received terrible service. We ordered a beef fillet, which was served with four lettuce leaves and a small portion of new potatoes. We only received one small piece, while the neighboring tables received two. We weren't given steak knives, while the other diners were! I had to leave half of my steak (it was full of gristle and inedible). We weren't given glasses because we drank from our aperitif glasses!
We had to ask for bread.
In short, we left without ordering dessert or coffee. All this for a hefty bill of €110 without wine.
You can understand that after our experience, we cannot recommend this place!

01/08/2026: It's urgent to correct this terrible 3.6 average rating, which no longer reflects the establishment at all since its (recent) change of ownership.
Yes, the food is excellent, the servers are friendly and efficient, and you're served quickly even on busy days (Saturday market). Customer satisfaction is a constant priority: it's the lowest-rated place in Le Chambon, yet paradoxically, you can book with complete confidence.
Since the change of ownership, the reviews are no longer representative at all!
