Les meilleurs restaurantsde cuisine française en Haute-Vienne

19/09/2024: I stopped by the Suchaud bakery and pastry shop today after seeing many positive reviews. It is a small shop which remains charming, but which offers a limited choice, whether in pastries or pastries. That said, it’s understandable for a bakery of this size. I tried a chicken sandwich with curry sauce, and it was honestly very good. The bread retained all its crispness, which is quite rare, because sandwiches often take on moisture, making the bread soft. Here, that was not the case, and that was really appreciated. A little small in size, but at a low price, so it's perfectly OK. Small downside regarding the labels: it would be good to pay attention to the clarity of the prices displayed. For example, the label said €2.90, but I paid €3.90. Maybe I didn't see the label correctly, but a better layout or more frequent updating would help. As for the pastries, they seemed a little overcooked to me during my visit. I wanted to have one, but they were overcooked, some even blackened. This may have been an isolated case, but it's something to keep an eye on. Finally, an important point to emphasize: there was clearly a shortage of employees. There was only one person managing around ten clients, and she was clearly overwhelmed. You could see that she was sweating and struggling to manage everything. This created a lack of communication with customers, and we can only understand this. Maybe a little extra help would make the experience smoother. Once again, thank you for the 100,000 views on my reviews! You can find all of my reviews on Google Reviews.

30/07/2026: The team is attentive to customers. The dishes are good and homemade. Themed days are organized throughout the year. Whether you want to have a coffee, a drink, or lunch, you'll be in the right place and will receive a warm welcome. Reservations are recommended for lunch. English is spoken.

20/10/2024: I have been here about 4 times now and have always enjoyed the visit. I like my food from big pieces of beef, lamb, chicken and ham it is all there with trays of salads and lots of seafood. Only once did I try something I did not like but altogether it was brilliant.

18/10/2025: Very good, a reference in St Junien and the surrounding area, and easily dethrones many restaurants in Limoges.

03/07/2024: Qualité excellente. Bonne cuisine faite maison. Quantité très importante. Patronne adorable, personnel compétent et gentil. A refaire souvent
