01/10/2024: I ate there yesterday with a friend following a recommendation. Very warm welcome on the phone for the reservation, and the same on site. The team is very friendly, the decor is magnificent and the dishes are delicious! The Versailles lives up to its name! I found my favorite restaurant for all my trips to Limoges.
30/09/2024: In this very French, truly classic restaurant, I ate sweetbreads for the first time. The food was delicious, but, for the less experienced, my advice: don't think too hard about what you eat. Hats off to Le Versailles for their charming and pretty restaurant inside!

11/09/2024: Late publication..We celebrated our son's 18th birthday at the beginning of July. Costel was perfect from the beginning (telephone reception, discussion on menus) until the end. Accommodating, open and friendly, the meal was excellent and so were the little touches. There were 12 of us and everyone enjoyed it ❤️ thank you again

07/09/2024: We went to drink an Irish Coffee, which is an ordinary request in a pub but it was poorly made and Stéphane apparently can't stand the comments and allows himself to be disrespectful to the customers.

09/09/2024: Never disappointed, both by the dishes and by the friendliness and personality of the tavern owner.
He sets you up, takes orders, cooks, provides service, clears up and gives you the atmosphere in his own way, all alone and without mistakes. The cuisine is simple, a reflection of the house and the boss, and is worth the detour;
you leave this place with your stomach stretched and soaked for a very reasonable price.
Special mention to the duck sausage made on site by the owner.

01/09/2024: Very warm welcome, the decoration is great, it feels like an imaginary world between Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Small World!
The plates are generous and delicious.
In short, we loved it!

14/09/2024: Toujours un excellent moment chez Philippe Redon. Une cuisine sublime, un service de grande qualité, on se sent bien dès l’entrée et ensuite….on se laisse aller, de surprise en surprise. Excellents conseils pour le vin également, franchement, c’est un pur moment de plaisir. Nous y reviendrons, comme nous l’avons déjà fait, dès que possible. Bravo !

équipe plus ou moins souriante, quant à l'assiette malheureusement un poisson trop cuit et un esquimau en guise de dessert formidable !! mais je n'y retournerai pas

15/08/2024: We arrived at more than 1:30 p.m. and were quickly seated. The menu is a small sign of fresh produce! The products are excellent. Quick service, only downside the waitress didn't think to offer us if we wanted something to drink. I think she just forgot, it’s not dramatic. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation, the prices are affordable. The raspberry apple crumble was just exceptional

21/08/2024: Peanut butter ice cream with real chunks in it! Very little sweetness, a delight!!! Caramel ditto! It feels like you're biting into a real Caramel! Chestnut with pieces of Chestnut... excellent

Several choices of savory and sweet crepes offered at very reasonable prices.
Located next to the cathedral, the location is ideal for spending a lovely evening.
The dishes were very good and served us well. We shared a dessert which was also up to par.
We will come back!
06/09/2024: For the pleasure of young and old, we enjoy ourselves between two visits. If you want to have a good time this is the place to be.. yum-yum we asked for more.

10/09/2024: 300 meters from Limoges Bénédictins station, you could pass by without paying attention, but don't hesitate to open the door. The menu is more than complete, starter/main course/cheese/dessert/coffee/wine for €14.50! And what's more, the food is homemade and the owner is friendly. What more could you ask for! Oh yes, chocolate mousse, or on Wednesday, eggs in wine!!! In short, go through the door and make up your mind.

03/09/2024: Arriving there by chance, we were lucky to have a table because it is better to reserve! Meals on the terrace (pedestrian street) served by charming and welcoming staff and we made friends and chatted with our neighboring table. Delicious and hearty meal, perhaps a little expensive but of great quality!
