10/07/2025: There were three of us, and the waitress didn't give us a great welcome.
We were told it was full, even though the terrace was half empty. There was no one in the restaurant. I think they didn't want to bother taking on too many customers that night, but hey, the wheel turns, and you should never turn away a customer when you can. At least, my friends and I won't be back anytime soon.
04/07/2025: We had a wonderful meal at this charming crêperie located just a stone's throw from the cathedral. For a very reasonable price, the crêpes were delicious, generous, and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent: fast, efficient, and the staff remarkably friendly.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, friendly meal without breaking the bank, with a warm welcome and a pleasant setting. We'll definitely be back!

01/10/2024: I ate there yesterday with a friend following a recommendation. Very warm welcome on the phone for the reservation, and the same on site. The team is very friendly, the decor is magnificent and the dishes are delicious! The Versailles lives up to its name! I found my favorite restaurant for all my trips to Limoges.
30/09/2024: In this very French, truly classic restaurant, I ate sweetbreads for the first time. The food was delicious, but, for the less experienced, my advice: don't think too hard about what you eat. Hats off to Le Versailles for their charming and pretty restaurant inside!

19/01/2026: The room was nicely renovated, but the shower holder in the bathroom was broken, there was no shower gel, and the air conditioning struggled to heat the room. The meal deal was surprising for a Campanile hotel; the food was decent, but the organization needs improvement.
30/12/2025: Excellent hotel. The manager was very attentive. Very good breakfast.

26/09/2024: Right in the city center of Limoges brasserie type. Very good dishes. Lots of choice for all tastes. The service is very good. Welcoming staff. Good value for money
25/09/2024: Sweetbreads to avoid. The plate looks like an industrial garnish for a bite to eat. At 30 euros per plate, the cook didn't bother, including the gratin dauphinois. No taste for either of them. It's a canteen dish for 8 euros.

12/04/2025: Very good value for money in this bistro, the daily special at €12 even during the weekend is perfect for eating well in the city center of Limoges without breaking the bank. The kindness and speed of the staff and the beautiful decoration reinforce the good time I had here!

The food was excellent: two Caesar salads and a flank steak with fries and blue cheese sauce.
I recommend this brasserie.

22/09/2024: My husband and I visited Limoges on our way to Toulouse and called in unannounced at Le Cheverny. We had the most incredible meal, the staff were brilliant and we wish we had time to stay longer. We highly recommend everything about this wonderful restaurant!

30/11/2025: A friend of mine was discriminated against because of his disability. Despite about ten other customers, a waiter refused to let him sit down, even though his disability prevents him from standing. He wrote a review denouncing the waiter's behavior but was intimidated by the bar staff into removing it. Such actions are unforgivable.
