The toilet seat doesn't close properly and you have to hold it open, even though you obviously want to be able to touch things in such disgusting public restrooms.
Very small space. Not clean. The tap is so stiff it pinches your fingers; my daughter hurt herself. The soap is extremely diluted and therefore useless.
The kitchen is visible from the toilets. Hygiene leaves much to be desired... the place wasn't fresh, it smelled rotten, and it was dirty.
I shouldn't have ordered; just the smell alone... I should have listened to my gut and turned around, but the kids were hungry.
What a disappointment!
Now for the food: worthy of a Sodexo cafeteria, and even then...
Milk in the bottom of the plate of carbonara pasta, barely cooked bacon, tasteless. Unpretentious.
The Bolognese pasta: orange sauce with large chunks of carrots and meat, tasteless!! Three tons of pasta for four-year-olds! And hardly any sauce. The poor girl almost threw up!
I took everything away. The pesto pasta: olive oil on pasta! No flavor, so greasy! And I love pesto and make excellent pesto.
A jar of store-bought pesto is a thousand times better, lol.

We went to get sandwiches after that. 68 euros to go eat somewhere else... great!
Five meals... five complete disasters.
The plates were full before they cleared them, but they still charged us, of course. The woman came up to me and asked if there was something wrong with the two pesto dishes because we were so disgusted, and it showed on our faces.
Disgusting.
In short. We know that summer or winter we won't be going back, and we'll tell EVERYONE we meet not to go back!!
Wake up, people... we're not animals!!!!
A business is fine, but don't sell crap.
When you're not good, you have to face the facts, lol!!!
Cooking for others isn't something you can just wing!!!
Do something else.
Sell apples!!
21/08/2026: The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The service was quick and we had a very good meal. Special mention for the desserts, especially the tiramisu 😋. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

A superb discovery during our week-long vacation! We went back to this little restaurant three times, and each time we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
We were able to try the pierrade (hot stone grill) and the wine fondue, which we hadn't tried before and which was a pleasant surprise. I also tried the daily special, tuna tataki that day. Everything was truly excellent. Fresh, well-prepared ingredients, generous portions, and elegant presentation. The service is also very pleasant, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
16/08/2026: A superb evening for a small birthday celebration, featuring the Pierrade. Excellent, generous portions, we were very happy and will gladly return in December. The new owner is super friendly, I highly recommend it, but remember to book ahead.

17/08/2026: Very slow service, 10 minutes for a glass of water. Nice atmosphere because it overlooks the snow front. Good because it's one of the few places that makes sweet crepes, Nutella, etc. SUPER SLOW SERVICE
15/08/2026: Excellent value for money. The ribeye steak was very tender, the desserts delicious, and the service impeccable. Family atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

The setting is still as pleasant as ever.
We found the service very good; the staff were friendly, attentive, and relatively quick and responsive despite the high volume of customers.
The portions are quite generous, but it's a shame the quality wasn't quite there.
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't unforgettable either. We felt the choice of ingredients was more reminiscent of a cafeteria than high-quality local produce.
This is a bit of a shame because, in my opinion, the prices don't reflect the quality.
Nevertheless, we still had a pleasant time. Hopefully, time and feedback will help the team improve even further. With better ingredients and a little more attention to detail in the preparation, I think this establishment would be a very good restaurant.

A wonderful discovery at the Le Tétras mountain restaurant in Risoul!
It has everything you expect from a true mountain restaurant: a family atmosphere, a warm welcome, and a smiling team that takes the time to connect with its customers.
The dishes are generous, deliciously prepared, and perfect after a morning hike. You can feel the family spirit at the heart of the establishment, and it truly makes all the difference.
The view is magnificent, and the atmosphere is friendly; you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. It's the kind of place we recommend without hesitation and where we want to return every time we're in Risoul.
Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience!
15/08/2026: A very pleasant setting for a hiking stopover. The food was quite good. The waitress was friendly and efficient, but the gentleman (the owner, I believe) seemed bothered by our presence and was very unpleasant. It's a shame he was the only negative point of our family outing.

04/05/2026: A really nice restaurant, they welcomed us with a smile despite the crowd, however, the portions could perhaps be a little smaller to be truly satisfied after a long day of skiing, and being served a small expired Coke was a bit odd.

14/03/2026: Basic but disappointing food. The pizzas looked sad, and the pasta with cheese was mostly butter.
The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed with managing the service. Coffee was reasonably priced, and water was free.

Restaurant les 3 Ours

30/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The food was excellent, and we received a very warm welcome.
As it was the end of the season, some dishes on the menu were indeed unavailable. However, contrary to what I've read in some reviews, we were informed of this by the waiter, who took the time to explain the options and was very attentive, pleasant, and professional throughout the meal. This wasn't a problem for us at all.
We also had a very good experience with the Roquefort sauce: it truly tasted like Roquefort! The portions were also generous and delicious.
Regarding the service, we arrived around 7 pm and noticed other customers arriving later. Personally, we didn't find the welcome cold, unpleasant, or rushed at all. On the contrary, the manager greeted her customers warmly, and she and the staff came to ask us several times if everything was alright.
This just goes to show how the same situation can be experienced very differently depending on the person and the circumstances.
Thank you to the whole team for the delicious meal and the wonderful time. We'll gladly come back! 😊
28/08/2026: A real disappointment.
A very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waiter let us look at the menus and make our choices, but upon his return, several of the dishes we had selected were no longer available. It's a shame this wasn't mentioned from the start; it would have prevented us from choosing for nothing.
Special mention goes to our 4-year-old son's meal, as he had also chosen an unavailable item.
Sauce suggestion: The Roquefort sauce was simply tasteless: no Roquefort flavor whatsoever, just a greasy taste. A Roquefort sauce without any real Roquefort flavor is quite difficult to understand…
And the coffee—don't add this to your final bill if you don't want to feel like you're drinking coffee grounds…
We shared our comments with the waiter, quite politely. The manager then became particularly unpleasant when it came time to present the bill and didn't even bother to say goodbye when we left. (Upon our arrival, she opened the door for us with lightning speed, considering the resort was empty at the end of the season.) We clearly felt that our comments hadn't been appreciated.
Unfortunately, between the unavailable dishes that weren't mentioned, the very disappointing quality of the food, and the poor service, we won't be returning. It was an experience we would have preferred to avoid.

13/03/2024: Je mets 1 étoile pour le cadre… sinon repas plus que moyen. Je demande une salade croustillons sans sauce, le serveur me répond c’est impossible car les salades sont préparées à l’avance… j’insiste il va se renseigner. Il revient avec la salade qui finalement baigne dans la sauce, sauce industrielle bien sûr (je m’y attendais d’où la demande..) 5 tourtons qui n’ont que le nom car 5 trucs surgelés qui ont un goût pâteux de quenelle bas de gamme.. la salade bas de gamme également bref… pour 17,90e vous regrettez votre choix. Mon mari commande un burger montagnard, demande la cuisson du steak bleu, le serveur lui répond « impossible ils sont déjà cuits et donc on les recuits » … le burger était accompagné de frites cuites et recuites également. 17,90e pour un steak surgelé trop cuit et des frites beurk.. ce resto est ce qu’on appelle un attrape touristes, les produits sont bas de gamme, les préparations non maîtrisées. Je déconseille ce restaurant à ceux qui aiment manger correctement au sens qualitatif et gustatif. rapport qualité prix plus que décevant. Total addition 53e !!! Pour 2 plats 2 boissons 1 café
(Et le proprio répondra que tous les restos font du surgelé… eh bien non… et heureusement)

Après une vingtaine de minutes les voila enfin
Manque de pot ce n’est pas les bon
2 cheese arrive a notre table
Étant devant le passe de cuisine j’ai vu que le soucis venait de la serveuse qui ne sais toujours pas c’est table en fin de saison
Étant de la restauration j’aurai pu passé outre ce petit détail
Mais je pensse que des excuses aurait été plus que la bienvenue car au final nous avions attendu 10 min en plus.

08/08/2024: Belle surprise cachée sur une coursive au cœur de la station. Une vue magique, décor moderne et authentique … et la cuisine juste magique ! Bravo pour des plats raffinés présentés avec finesse et générosité. Ce que j’appelle du haut de gamme décontracté qui mérite de tester et revenir sans modération
01/08/2024: Le meilleur restaurant de Risoul et ses alentours, sans aucun doute !!! Une cuisine locale, recherchée et raffinée, qui change régulièrement selon les désirs des chefs et les arrivages. Tout est fait maison, la cuisine sait comment vous surprendre et ravir vos papilles!!! La qualité du service est sensationnelle et agréable, vous serez chouchouté bien mieux qu'à la maison, et ça fait du bien !! Ambiance tranquille et sans pression, toujours avec de la bonne musique de fond !!! Merci à toute l'équipe, ne changez rien, chaque repas est une expérience culinaire à part entière !! À très vite !
