23/07/2026: Excellent traditional daily special, friendly staff, pleasant and shaded terrace!
05/07/2026: We went to have a coffee at this “cantine” this morning. The short, grumpy female server was beyond rude and the service was slow. The French couple at the table next to us (who were very comedic about the server) said “she is not pleasant or helpful”. Yes, we “only had a coffee” but won’t be going back for that or anything else. Management need to change out this staff member.

23/07/2026: Since the change of ownership, this bakery has become a drive-through where you go in, choose your bread, pay, and goodbye! However, the staff seem to be having a good laugh amongst themselves, and sometimes you get the feeling you're bothering them (to put it politely) by coming in to pick up a baguette.
The quality/price ratio for the bread is very poor.
For example, the "Pain Grand Siècle" (Grand Century Bread) is only 2/5 quality; I ate it the same day (bought at 9 am, already hard by 8 pm!!). Prices are on average 20 cents more expensive on all breads and pastries compared to other bakeries.
15/07/2026: A busy place where you meet lots of people. The food is good, nothing fancy. It's a shame the pastries aren't more elaborate. The welcome is always friendly, especially to people with disabilities like my son.

24/07/2026: We ordered ice cream and a café crème. I asked for napkins, but they never arrived. Then, she served me my café crème, which had spilled into the saucer, with the sugar packets swimming in the coffee. I showed her the cup, but she didn't react. It seems she's in the habit of carrying her tray crooked. 24/07/26
The place is quiet and pleasant.
14/07/2026: The south used to be my favorite place, I held meetings there with my clients to discuss things and have a good time with a beautiful view, but recently it has changed, the staff is not up to par at all, too much waiting, things are forgotten, the food is not great, etc. In short, today I just wanted to tell you that you have lost a client who had been a client of yours for 7 years now and you are losing several clients unfortunately.

12/06/2026: We've been coming to this brasserie regularly for lunch with colleagues for over a year now. It's a little gem. I highly recommend you try it. We're waiting for the Bimply restaurant card to be approved so we can come more often, haha ^^ Thanks!

07/05/2026: We ate there at lunchtime, a tuna and cream sandwich, and now I'm sick. Chills, headache, stomachache. The name is By Biron, but on the credit card receipt it says Halaveli.

16/04/2026: Too long, no organization. No more 9 am breakfasts, no more crepes… the organization needs to be reviewed. Otherwise, the waiter is nice.
14/04/2026: It's dirty, noisy, and vulgar. Avoid it. One wonders how the town hall can tolerate such an image for tourists who mistakenly stumble into this dive.

I was told there were no main courses. Just quiche and croque monsieur... they don't accept restaurant vouchers, even though that was a key demand of restaurant owners.
€9.90 for a tiny piece of salmon quiche, microwaved, and three lettuce leaves... no comment.

06/08/2026: It was 40°C. I asked for tap water for my puppy, and the waiter immediately looked insecure. He said he would try and speak to his superiors with all due respect.
I went back inside with the food and realized it was a management issue. Considering we've been traveling around France these past few days, everywhere we went they offered us water before we even asked. It's a shame; we hope to return and have a different experience. So far, it's been very unpleasant. The waiter's service was excellent.

16/08/2024: Still a pleasant walk, there aren't many people which is great, the environment is really great, it's a shame that some animals didn't show up. The price is very reasonable, €3 for students and €2.50 with presentation of the agglomeration or metropolis pass.
06/08/2024: I asked the nice gentleman at the zoo gate. The Amazon House will not reopen. That's really a pity. You should start a fundraising campaign. If money is the reason! Sad. It was always very nice in here and the inside was designed with love.

31/08/2024: Table de 12 et seuls à l’intérieur, le serveur nous a ignoré et préfère servir les 10 dehors. Nous avons terminé notre repas ailleurs !
23/03/2024: Dégustation au verre, avec 3 formats (pour goûter, demi verre, verre) en blanc moelleux ou sec et en rouge ou bien à la bouteille.
Les planches sont vraiment de qualité, coupées minutes (pas sous blister industriel), porc noir de Bigorre, charcuterie corse, Serrano...., fromages au top. BREF c'est BON ! On reviendra pour tester les tapas chauds !
