02/10/2024: We were very well received as usual, the beer is top notch. Unfortunately the sauerkraut is no longer as good as before because the one served today was not cooked in beer and was sour, the cold meats had no taste. Too bad because we came on purpose for that... Not to mention the acid reflux that this caused us! 🤢
02/10/2024: I am extremely disappointed!
I arrived at 8:30 p.m. to leave at 10:15 p.m.!!!!
I went there for a special family occasion and it ended very badly because the waiter was absent... He passed by from time to time without paying attention to us even though we had finished our dishes for a while!
It’s very unfortunate because there are other excellent waiters and waitresses that we are happy to have, unlike him where it always ends badly…
When it was time to pay, he hid behind the bar after another long wait, another waiter took the initiative to cash us even though he had no obligation to do so!

04/01/2026: I'm a regular at this bar. I'm always very well received, especially by the excellent servers. Except for today, when a woman with glasses at the counter, "the manager," spoke rudely to my father, who was simply asking to be seated at a table for seven because there were five of us and it was too cramped. The service was unacceptable: no smile, disgusting language, and threats. I refuse to be served by this woman again.
It's unacceptable to have people like that working there.

02/10/2024: The places are beautiful with beautiful colors
Spacious and comfortable rooms
Small downside with the presence of stains on a few seats, cleaning could be carried out more thoroughly
The cinema is not more expensive than any other (well €40 for a couple with some popcorn has become almost a luxury)
The games room located at the entrance is small but does the job of relaxing and having fun

The price, 15.60, is a joke..
Dirty rooms and disgusting chairs
WC or toilet rollers are so big that they are blocked
And you give credit if you want to buy a bottle of water or popcorn
3.50 euros per badoit... It's gold in a bottle
And again this time I was lucky I didn't have to go and ask to turn off the room...

22/12/2025: Not safe for women, sexist behaviour, phisycally and verbally agressive bartender (maybe the boss?).
16/12/2025: No more daily special. No more flank steak either, even though it was listed on the menu. None of the three wok dishes were available. I had a hamburger out of desperation. It was inedible. I did love the carafe of ice-cold water, though.

10/11/2025: The service was generally quite fast, but I was disappointed by the staff's attitude. I ordered a pistachio milkshake and was served a strawberry one. The waitress simply replied, "Oh, you said strawberry," without offering to make it again or providing any solution, even though my companion and I were certain I had specifically asked for pistachio. A complete lack of professionalism; I do not recommend this place. Avoid it.
11/10/2025: The Montpellier esplanade is magnificent, but the bar is a real disappointment. The service is very, very slow, and the waiter is cold and visibly disinterested in his customers. The prices are high for the quality of the service provided. Honestly, avoid it.

16/08/2024: Still a pleasant walk, there aren't many people which is great, the environment is really great, it's a shame that some animals didn't show up. The price is very reasonable, €3 for students and €2.50 with presentation of the agglomeration or metropolis pass.
06/08/2024: I asked the nice gentleman at the zoo gate. The Amazon House will not reopen. That's really a pity. You should start a fundraising campaign. If money is the reason! Sad. It was always very nice in here and the inside was designed with love.

28/09/2024: A very nice discovery!!! Close to the station, this workshop has been transformed into a top-notch culinary and cultural meeting place. A beautiful menu, competent service despite the place being full and yet there is volume and places.. But above all every evening there is musician and singer entertainment... For me it was Beatles evening... The place you need discover in Montpellier

21/09/2024: First experience in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and it was exceptional.
Excellent service, excellent appetizers, as well as the cuisine, very varied and rather sophisticated, based on simple, seasonal products.
Wines perfectly matched with the dishes, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very soothing.
We will return.

31/08/2024: Table de 12 et seuls à l’intérieur, le serveur nous a ignoré et préfère servir les 10 dehors. Nous avons terminé notre repas ailleurs !
23/03/2024: Dégustation au verre, avec 3 formats (pour goûter, demi verre, verre) en blanc moelleux ou sec et en rouge ou bien à la bouteille.
Les planches sont vraiment de qualité, coupées minutes (pas sous blister industriel), porc noir de Bigorre, charcuterie corse, Serrano...., fromages au top. BREF c'est BON ! On reviendra pour tester les tapas chauds !

04/09/2024: The place where I wanted to eat was closed for holiday, so I looked for an equivalent. In walking around, surveying my options, I stumbled upon this place with a dinner formula: Cassoulet maison, wine and gateau au chocolat. It was supposed to be an extra 20 minute wait, so I ordered a kir, to pass the time, and my superb cassoulet came faster than I expected. Definitely worth the [negligible] wait. It had rained a goodly portion of the day, was cooler than normal for an early September day, and really hit the spot, and the red wine accompanying it was perfect. Waiters were affable and helpful, and service was quick. Recommend.
10/07/2024: This restaurant does not live up to Michelin recommendation. Dishes are not fresh and food does not have a good taste. Some dishes were cold and seafood with sand.
