06/04/2026: Lunch at Saint Georges, overlooking the harbor: a bright, calm setting, almost suspended between the sea and the sails. The terrace is well-maintained, the tables are beautifully set, and the warm welcome immediately sets the perfect tone. On the plate, it's all about quality: the fish is cooked to perfection, the portions are generous, and the presentation is elegant without being ostentatious. The daily menu is well-thought-out, and the desserts live up to expectations—simple, indulgent, and satisfying. The service is professional and attentive without being intrusive, with that relaxed, seaside rhythm that makes you want to linger.
A restaurant that does things properly, with taste, and that respects both the ingredients and the customer. A great place in Palavas for a leisurely, well-executed meal, and a view that makes it all worthwhile.

We wanted to go there today.
I tried to make a reservation and got the answering machine:
Permanently closed!!!!

Be careful.
10/04/2026: Having a gift certificate, I called to make a reservation, but what a disappointment! The restaurant is permanently closed. The money is lost. It's shameful. No announcement was made. I suspect I'm not the only one.

20/04/2026: We were lucky enough to be invited to the Players Plus dinner. The meal was excellent, the service top-notch, and the atmosphere very friendly.
This evening was a real pleasure.
A big thank you to the entire Casino team, and especially to Emilie for her professionalism, kindness, smile, and good humor 👍

The mashed potatoes were just instant mashed potatoes!
The food and cooking were tasteless.
The dishes weren't even piping hot!

18/04/2026: A very warm welcome and excellent ice cream. A big thank you for thinking of lactose-intolerant people like me and offering a very indulgent chocolate sorbet (and other very good sorbets as well).
17/04/2026: The prices are clearly too high considering the portion sizes, the ice cream scoops are quite small, and a crepe with only three tiny pieces of strawberry costs an extra €3, which is disappointing. The churros are bland; the ice cream is still good, but the portions aren't large enough to really enjoy it. The experience is also spoiled by the atmosphere; during service, there's tension between the employees, creating a real sense of discomfort for customers. It's a shame, especially since there are many other ice cream shops in Palavas that offer better value for money and a much more pleasant atmosphere.

Un cadre agréable. Terrasse sympa. Bonne ambiance, fond musical latino.
Un service cordial, rapide comme il faut. Carte simple. Du bistro traditionnel et des plats de poisson. Moules frites très bonnes et fraîches. Super sauce roquefort. Des plats servis chauds. Avec du goût. En quantité et en qualité. Pas si cher.
Réservation obligatoire.

05/04/2026: The seaside location is somewhat of a selling point, but the quality of the €19 salad is really not what I expected.
Fortunately, the staff are efficient and lovely.
04/03/2026: A very pleasant surprise! The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the location was fantastic. We were too full for dessert (the portions were generous), but they looked tempting.
Their Google rating is average, so it's worth checking out during peak season, but off-season it's definitely a good choice!

14/04/2026: The paella and pizza were excellent, we had a wonderful meal yesterday, I highly recommend it!
13/04/2026: Very disappointed. Several of us came for lunch after seeing a very appealing menu online.
Once there, there was no menu (no drinks or set menus) and only three main courses and one starter listed on a chalkboard. The pizzas seemed frozen, the paella was clearly overpriced, and the wines were under-served.
The service was slow, even though we weren't the only ones in the restaurant, I understand, but we were the only ones eating.
The atmosphere was unpleasant; someone was smoking a joint on the terrace, staring at us throughout the entire meal… An establishment with a beautiful website that promises a dream, but a very disappointing reality: low-quality, limited cuisine and unfriendly service.

10/07/2025: The room is quite small with a view of the campsite. The floor in the room is sticky and there is fungus in the shower. The only good thing is the location, which is very close to the sea.

20/09/2025: Unfortunately, I have to say that the mussels aux frites weren't particularly good. They were small and shriveled, and the broth was noticeably oversalted. The day before yesterday, we were at the roundabout, 10 meters away at Péchés aux Gourmands, and the mussels were better prepared, fresher, and with a broth you'd want to spoon out the whole thing. Unfortunately, not a good review! It was slightly cheaper next door, and the rosé was even better.
12/09/2025: They're selling old, dried-out baguettes here in the evening. It's a disgrace! That's completely unacceptable, because in France, a baguette is a way of life!

However, it's quite run-down…
It doesn't deserve its three stars, but it could use a good renovation…
There's an unpleasant smell in the hallways.
The shower screen is broken and has been replaced with an uninviting shower curtain.
The shower itself isn't very clean. There's mold residue and black marks all around the grout.
The bathroom furniture is in poor condition and dirty.
What a shame, as it's very well located.
The cleaning man was very kind, and I sincerely feel sorry for him because he's not responsible for this state of disrepair!
A major drawback is the paid parking until 10 PM, including Sundays and holidays.
Furthermore, my car was damaged to steal a headlight cover.
It's a shame; we won't be returning.
25/03/2026: The location is beautiful and the staff very pleasant, but apart from that, there's nothing else positive to say. I won't be going back, which is a shame because the view is sublime.
