18/01/2026: Even one star is too much; the meal was mediocre, we had indigestion during the night and were sick, and that's when we realized the tuna had been overcooked despite being ordered rare. The kitchen hygiene must be appalling; avoid this place.

13/01/2026: Hello, My job requires me to eat out every day. I therefore believe I can offer objective opinions on my experiences. Generally, I only post positive reviews, and very rarely negative ones. But this is ridiculous! Go to McDonald's instead; at least you'll get something for free. Alone in the restaurant, I had to wait almost 25 minutes for a lukewarm, rubbery fried smelt, clearly from the bottom of the bag (lots of heads and tails). I called the waiter over, who offered to fry them again. They came back much more colorful, but still rubbery. I ate a few more with my second bread basket, then asked for the rest, leaving a good portion of those poor smelt behind. The tuna steak! The presentation was lovely, the tuna perfectly cooked (pink in the center), a quarter of a lemon, two dollops of unfortunately cold mashed potatoes, and a scalding piece of fennel adorned what was, nonetheless, a beautiful plate. But... At the first bite of a piece of tuna, I spat it all back onto the plate. It tasted stale. I cut another piece from the opposite side to smell it, and the smell and taste were back. It was like a fish from Ordralfabetix (for those in the know), or a fish that had been out of the sea for far too long! Spoiled. I finished my third basket of bread and went to the till to express my dissatisfaction and my intention to eat elsewhere. There are limits to adventure, to taking risks. They informed the kitchen and explained that no one had ever complained, then, without any further tact, charged me 18 euros, not without daring to say "Goodbye, sir." Beware! The two pictures I'm showing you hide a sad reality: IT'S TERRIBLE!!! There may be supply or kitchen problems, but they should be able to take responsibility and offer the customer something else, or even not charge them. But this place is clearly a tourist trap and driven by greed!!! Don't go there. There are plenty of others nearby that are definitely worth a visit.

11/11/2024: Très agréable surprise et heureux hasard lors d’un séjour entre amis. Pas forcément convaincus devant l’ enseigne qui nous indique un " petit bistrot " alors qu’il s’agit en fait d’un véritable lieu gastronomique où le chef ( et patron) cuisine de délicieux mets presque sous vos yeux et visite chaque table après dégustation accompagné de sa joyeuse équipe. Ce Restaurant mérite amplement 5 étoiles 🌟

20/11/2025: This hotel is an excellent find. It definitely deserves a third star. On Google, if I could have given it a sixth star, I would have, for the following reasons: The rooms are clean and the bedding is very comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, which is much appreciated. The breakfast is plentiful. The value for money is unbeatable, and the hotel is well located, being close to the beaches. 26/08/2024: A culinary experience not to be missed! We had a great time in this restaurant. The cuisine is creative, refined, delicate, surprising... Enhanced by a very judicious food and wine pairing. The service was very pleasant, the restaurant very elegant... We will come back with great pleasure! Only downside: the limited choice of non-alcoholic drinks. Apart from this point, perfect!!

23/08/2024: Very bad reception. For arriving 10 minutes late (almost impossible mission to park in Sete in summer despite our early departure) the chef refused to take us but also refused to reimburse us in full for the meals already paid for online. He accused us of being among those who are asking questions and causing problems for restaurateurs (all for being 10 minutes late). After much negotiation we ended up being able to eat a menu adapted so that it was shorter to serve, and we finished at exactly the same time as the other customers. All that for that! A romantic birthday date well wasted, despite the very good quality of the dishes.

25/09/2024: We ate today in this restaurant. We were very well received by very friendly and competent staff and owners. Excellent meal, great value for money. We will definitely come back and we highly recommend it.

17/09/2024: We arrived for lunch having such in the morning to reserve by indicating that we had a box the owner a very pleasant person replied that there was no problem We present him with the box worth 59.9 euros She tells us perfect but I will make a deduction of 40 € simply because if not, I will lose money the box was for 2 but there were 3 of us so she was already a beneficiary we took 2 starters and 2 hot dishes 2 glasses 2 wines as agreed in the box it was very obvious That we were going to eat dessert elsewhere given the behavior of this person who does not respect the price of the box The 3rd person paid their dues which is normal It is certain that we will not return to this establishment anyway the prices are very high for what is served

15/09/2024: Une découverte au top! On arrive avec un accueil le sourire fait chaud au cœur . De entré au dessert que du frais et fait maison . D’une propreté exemplaire. Un grand bravo à toute équipe où on est reçu comme à la maison . La patronne d’une gentillesse et le serveur très agréable . De passage pour une semaine . On y à manger trois fois et à chaque fois top . Au niveau nourriture vous avez le choix , les plats très copieux . Je vous remercie pour votre accueil et générosité . Restez comme cela et on vous dit à bientôt .

03/09/2024: Je vous invite à faire quelques pas pour sortir des quais afin de découvrir ce petit resto, où nous avons été très bien accueilli. Bon rapport qualité/prix, le menu entrée/plat/dessert le midi est à 28€. La carte est petite car tout est frais et modifié tous les jours. Tous les plats sont maison et travaillés avec originalité.

16/06/2024: The waiter is super nice but the lady at the cash register is as nice as a prison door. Say hello twice with no response, but there are a lot of people there. I don't recommend.
