14/07/2026: An inedible risotto costing €28 without even a gesture of goodwill from management, without any apology, their only argument being that if others liked it, it must be good. No self-reflection whatsoever. I strongly advise against going there. In total, we paid over €45 per person for food that wasn't really food... avoid this place. This perhaps explains why the terrace was desperately empty while other restaurants were relatively busy. A decline in tourism and the quality of establishments in Sète is occurring year after year. Service and quality will be the only benchmarks, which is logical in the current climate. A gesture of goodwill towards a disappointed customer is not an admission of weakness, but true business acumen. A lost customer means 10 more coming... Good luck.

30/07/2026: Given that I weigh 100kg, the small portions served are shameful… add to that the rosé and white wine, probably diluted with water, plus the waiters who rush us and clear our tables quickly. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. Sincerely

30/07/2026: The ultimate tourist trap…Run away!!!

06/07/2026: We decided to go for a hike to see the magnificent scenery. Having run out of water, they agreed to refill ours. However, they did so with some comments we could have done without!

05/07/2026: Arnaud gave us excellent advice. A wonderful place serving authentic, generous tielle pies from Sète. The pizzas are also superb. And smoothies for dessert. All served with smiles and good cheer.

02/08/2026: The meal was very good, no complaints, but be very careful before paying your bill! We were the victims of an error of €11.60 on the final bill (the meal cost €106.20 instead of €94.60). They charged us for three ice creams instead of one, which wasn't part of the set menu. I called to report it, but they said there was nothing they could do. Be careful before you pay!

02/08/2026: Le Saint-Clair has diversified and I think it has lost its focus as an ice cream parlor... what a shame...

21/07/2026: A bad experience if you're looking to spend your money on good food at a reasonable price. We came for lunch today. The menu at the entrance looked appealing—not too extensive and scattered, with fresh fish and the "homemade" label. Unfortunately, the wait was far too long for what we received: - A single, tiny cuttlefish with two spoonfuls of mashed potato (despite being advertised as mashed potatoes) and a few slices of carrot and peas that seemed frozen. - A swordfish tartare that was quite good, but over-seasoned, very poorly presented (as if a handful of diced swordfish had been placed directly on the plate), and very badly cut. The side dish, which should have been a salad—perfect for the heat—was instead replaced with fries that also seemed frozen. All this for an exorbitant price with presentation and service that left much to be desired. When it came time to pay the bill, we waited 20 minutes and asked twice. Despite this, the waiter continued chatting, ignoring the other customers and the waitress who was doing everything by herself. He also didn't know how to use the card reader. On the plus side, the food was delicious and the waitress was very pleasant!

19/07/2026: We had a wonderful time today with our family. The food was excellent, featuring fresh fish and authentic local recipes. The service was prompt and very pleasant, and the chef is clearly passionate about his craft – it shows in the food! Thank you for a lovely meal!
