10/12/2025: We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. It was fully booked even in December and on weekdays at lunchtime. The food was fresh, locally caught seafood, and the dishes were very tasty.

They were very attentive at all times and very kind to the children.

No frills. Just good, fresh food.
30/11/2025: You either need to book or arrive early, as it's not very big in winter. Otherwise, the terrace must be lovely in warmer weather. One small drawback: there's no menu, but the set menu is very appealing.

30/11/2025: The mezze format is quite nice, and the food is of a good standard. It's a shame the service isn't up to the same standard.
We ordered a glass of wine, and the waitress offered us a taste before pouring it. After tasting it, we decided to order something else. The waitress then clumsily remarked, "If I had known, I wouldn't have opened the bottle." The standard practice in the industry is to offer customers a taste before serving them wine. There's no harm done if a customer changes their mind when it comes to wine by the glass. This kind of behavior detracts from the customer experience and undermines the work of the kitchen. It's a shame.
14/11/2025: We celebrated our wedding anniversary there.
The food was exquisite and the welcome warm. We have wonderful memories of this special occasion.
We will gladly return.

Go there if you have an entrepreneurial project and your business model is to exploit the consumer to the fullest: you'll learn the basics.
No reservations (why bother with customer comfort, right?)
If you come alone to reserve a table, well, tough luck, you have to be a full group! "But have a drink at the bar while you wait!" Sure, if I want, and while I wait for what? For everyone to cut in front of me?
Paper plates, so-so mussels, friendliness on the menu, but next year, stinking garbage containers next to the tables.
In short, it's a kitchen nightmare, but in Hossegor.
A tourist trap to be avoided at all costs.
PS: If you have any doubts, because opinions are divided, go read the replies to some of the comments; This gives a pretty good idea of the mindset of the place (some examples of responses from "the institution" Minus in screenshots: "we remain an institution" 😂🇨🇵💪🏻 "focus on your vacation" ♥️🫶🏻🥕🍆🍆 a selection of the welcome!)
03/10/2025: We used to come here often but it has changed a lot, mussels 3/4 not open the spices have changed a lot, we said it nicely, but not even a small commercial gesture to apologize, too bad we really liked this place, we will not come back.

01/02/2026: Having been regulars at the old location, where the atmosphere was superb and the portions generous and delicious, we tried their new restaurant in place of Tetrade. We were very disappointed. The restaurant wasn't heated, so you had to eat with your jacket on; even the waiters wore jackets. There were missing ingredients, the portions were really small and not very tasty, and the sauce was just water with a little spice—nothing special. For us, it will be the last time, especially considering the prices. It's the first time in my life I've left a restaurant feeling hungry.
17/01/2026: Expensive dishes: so we opted for grilled mussels: they were greasy and tasteless. The fries were half-cooked and frozen. The service was friendly. The fries were complimentary.

16/09/2024: Nous connaissions ce restaurant et nous aimions y aller manger... Mais ce dimanche nous avons été très déçus... Attente interminable... Personnel incompétent (en particulier une serveuse) qui devrait à mon avis changer de métier !!! Le service laisse sérieusement à désirer... Resto pourtant pas complet... Tables non desservies... Nous avons eu le temps de regarder autour de nous.... Pour nous rendre compte du manque de professionnalisme de l'équipe !!! A part nous dire qu'ils étaient désolés... Ça a fini par nous énerver sérieusement. Nous en avons fait part à cette "charmante serveuse" qui a fini par nous dire qu'ils n'auraient pas dû nous prendre. BRAVO MADAME... Continuez comme ça et vous allez vous plaindre très vite du manque de clientèle !!!....
14/09/2024: Nous cherchions à manger moules frites, le restaurant nous laisse un peu douteux mais on y va quand même.
Nous choisissons moules frites persillade et basquaise. Les frites font envies mais au final on sent qu’elles sont surgelées, la persillade n’est pas maison et la basquaise semble être tout droit sortie d’une boîte de conserve ; quant aux moules , la qualité ne semble pas être au rdv …

04/01/2026: A superb discovery. A true delight from start to finish, both visually and in terms of the food. Flawless in every way. You can go without hesitation.
Also worth noting is the warm welcome; we made several changes to our reservation, even at the last minute, and always received a positive and friendly response.

10/09/2024: Ne ratez pas cette expérience culinaire hors du commun ! Accueil remarquable par un couple adorable, attentionné et très professionnel. Nous étions 4 adultes ( table 6) et à l’unanimité, nous nous sommes régalés. Beaucoup d’originalité et de saveurs dans les plats, planche à partager délicieuse , poisson parfaitement cuit , nacré, bravo au cuisinier ! 👏 dessert aux cacahuètes top! A noter également la décoration soignée, les toilettes nickel et la musique parfaite. Nous tenions à exprimer notre satisfaction, bravo à l’équipe ! 👍🙏
