24/04/2026: A fantastic find! Marinette's tea room is a real gem. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the decor is tasteful, and you immediately feel at ease. The pastries are delicious, made with care, and the drinks are excellent. Special mention goes to the service, which was truly pleasant and attentive. Perfect for a sweet treat, I highly recommend it!

30/05/2026: Never seen a restaurant like this! There were two of us eating, the first customers. The owner pounced on us, forcing us to choose a set menu. I asked her to bring me the menu. There was no children's menu for my daughter. So I decided to order fish and chips. I asked for an aperitif while I thought about what to order. That's when the owner got angry and told me I had to hurry up. Unacceptable! We left while they were lecturing us and insulting us… AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!

22/05/2026: Unacceptable! We visited the restaurant a few months ago and ordered our meals as agreed. I ordered a potato pancake. It was served without salad. Disgusted, I asked for a salad to accompany my friends' meals. A waitress arrived and told us that exchanging our meals was impossible, especially since my dish wasn't originally served with a salad, so I was ABSOLUTELY NOT supposed to have one. What business is it of hers? They're my friends, they agreed to it!! We paid for our meals anyway, so we can do what we want with them! The waiter, however, was great!

26/06/2025: UPDATE: I tried again at lunchtime with a 1.5-hour break. Despite this extended time, it was still impossible to get served for a main course and dessert. The waiter was alone, and the service was still slow. I specifically asked not to be charged for the desserts, since they weren't served and weren't eaten. The waiter assured me this would be taken into account… only to end up charging me exactly the same price as for a full meal. ➡️ This is therefore a lie, and in my opinion, a dishonest, even abusive, practice. If you consistently apply a set menu, then at least have the honesty to clearly state it—or make sure you can deliver on your promises regarding service. Like many, I don't appreciate being taken for a fool, and I won't make this mistake again. This was the last time. ---- My colleague and I visited this restaurant several times last summer and appreciated the manager's warm welcome, the terrace, and the quality of the food. Unfortunately, our last two visits were much less positive. On both occasions, we were charged for the entire menu when we only ordered the daily special, as we didn't have time for the rest (it's impossible to eat in an hour there). Beyond questioning the legality of this charge, it's simply not good business practice to charge full price to someone who doesn't order the entire menu, especially when it's mainly due to the speed of the service. Given this practice, we probably won't be going back, which is a shame considering our initial positive impression.

03/04/2026: The saleswoman was unpleasant and sighed when I asked if it was possible to place an order. Honestly, avoid this place! It's absolutely unacceptable customer service. Extremely disappointed, I do not recommend it.

17/05/2026: We came to this establishment, but the experience was very disappointing. While we were sitting and chatting, we noticed two staff members behind the counter behaving unprofessionally and mockingly towards someone at our table. This disrespectful behavior left us all with a bad impression and a bitter taste… It's a shame, I used to like this place.

22/04/2026: We had a drink one afternoon; the service was very friendly. It wasn't very busy because of the grey weather, but the place seemed welcoming.

13/04/2026: There were two of us, and we were seated at a small table in the middle of the room next to the glass rack, even though the restaurant was practically empty. I had ordered a medium-rare burger… I've never tasted a burger so dry; the meat was overcooked, and the fries were just as dry. I had been there over a year ago and left with a good impression, but this time it was nothing like I remembered. It was also quite cold, especially when people kept coming and going with the door open, knowing it was 5°C outside…

21/03/2026: This is our second time having lunch at Glasgow. From aperitif to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Not to mention the efficient and quick service. We'll gladly be back!

10/04/2026: Very disappointed for a short afternoon break. Long wait, the waiter didn't seem to be managing his terrace... more in a hurry to take payment.
