28/08/2024: Declared open on the internet, so I go to the restaurant; seeing a huge sign in front of the restaurant with the words “open” I’m going to park! Then I arrive at the door and a little note indicates that it is closed for holidays! 😳 A restaurant that “thinks” about its customers is a pleasure... 🫣

24/08/2024: Meal back from vacation which allowed us to end in a good mood. The adorable waiter, a bit of a tease, enhanced our evening with his humor. Concerning the various dishes, good, generous, of quality, I recommend

06/10/2024: I have visited this restaurant many times, the first time about 15 years ago. I have always been satisfied with the price-quality ratio... until the company was taken over some time ago (by the daughter of the owners?) and prices subsequently rose sharply. Quite logical in itself at a time when everything has become more expensive, but the perfect composition of the children's menu (tasting the buffet d'entrée + fries nuggets or something like that) no longer exists. For our children who were used to the pleasure of being able to choose from the buffet, we now only order the starter buffet d'entrée (12.50 approximately the same as the price for a children's menu). But it has now happened several times that for our small children 2 and 6 years old are charged a full buffet menu and I really don't want to pay 22 euros for those few bites they eat! My partner never eats desserts at all, so tonight we paid about 20 euros too much. So we now paid 24 euros for a few macarons and a yogurt. Next time we will spend that money on a really good restaurant such as Le Caillau and certainly not in this restaurant that used to be always full and where now, well I understand, hardly any people come, let alone come back.

07/09/2024: Soirée tranquille ?De qui se moque t'on?Ce soir samedi 7 septembre, orchestre commandité :chanteuse submergée par un excès de basses et de décibels. Pas moyen d'échanger un propos.Ringard Lancelot ?J'aime les Beatles. les Rolling stores,les Hermans Hermits et consort,mais pas les décibels délirants et les excès de basse.3 pelés et 1 tondu applaudissent.´es autres subissent. Prothèses auditives garanties pour ces gacheurs de soirée tranquilles.

04/08/2024: Bistro agréable . Service assuré par une jeune équipe très sympathique. Nourriture très bonne . La salade César est montrueusement grande et la tentacule d’encornets immense. Bon rapport qualité/prix . Je recommande si vous êtes dans la région Nous teviendrons pour confirmer

18/09/2024: Nous étions venus suite à la lecture des précédents avis élogieux. A croire qu'il ne s'agit pas du même restaurant ou bien que les avis précédents sont des avis de complaisance. Tout d'abord, nous avons attendu 1 heure pour avoir le plat principal, après un apéritif et une entrée minimaliste sans intérêt. Quant au plat .... la viande n'était pas cuite et les frites trop cuites et pas croustillantes. Le poisson était insipide. Il baignait dans une sauce claire et les légumes qui l'accompagnaient étaient tout juste tièdes sans saveur et trop cuits. Bref, ce n'était vraiment pas ce qu'on appelle de la bonne cuisine. D'autres clients autour de nous n'étaient pas contents non plus. Bref, une bien piètre expérience.

06/10/2024: Man. What a top address. I called Karen and the same evening I was allowed to move in. Karen and Rolf are super nice. You can contact them for any question. The houses are in a very quiet location. But is not far to the historic village of Monflanquin. This is highly recommended and the most beautiful place I stayed during my road trip through France and Spain. Thanks to Karen and Rolf. See you again ❤️

24/09/2024: A beautiful place! We stayed in Le Menuisier with our family with 3 young kids. Lovely space and a nice atmosphere. The outside is also very spacious with plenty of space to relax or for the kids to play. Nice markets and villages nearby. The hospitality of Karen and Rolf, daughter Danne's welcome meal, the massage and evening babysitting completed it all and we certainly plan to come back!

20/09/2024: A long time since our 1st lunch here so we need to make the effort to go more often... Lovely welcome from all staff present especially Eve.. A nice table in the window, efficient service throughout our 2+ hour meal with the 34 eu menu offering excellent choices at reasonable prices.. House wines good too.. Enjoyed every minute and mouthful of our 3 courses and thoroughly recommend... So much more enjoyable than other more expensive venues in the Cahors area... Really excellent... Thank you!!

19/09/2024: Very good restaurant. The food is great voor a reasonable price. The service is good and friendly. Especially Evelien, who served us well. She is a delight. She is very positive, she is interested in her guests and always makes a nice chat with the right humor. Her serving us is the reason we completed this review with 5 stars. We will come back. Très bon restaurant. La nourriture est excellente pour un prix raisonnable. Le service est bon et sympathique. Surtout Evelien, qui nous a bien servis. C'est un délice. Elle est très positive, elle s'intéresse à ses invités et fait toujours une conversation agréable avec le bon humour. Son service est la raison pour laquelle nous avons complété cette évaluation avec 5 étoiles. Nous reviendrons.
